Huh, a few on both sides of the list I hadn’t even heard of (Pan??).

While I can definitely see what you mean, there is a lot I’m surprised you didn’t see preceeding that.
Adding to the Konami file, the lack of a new Castlevania...although given the current state of Konami perhaps it’s a good thing that they have done absolutely nothing to or wih the franchise lately?
“Almost as toxic”? Counterstrike alone seems to help make it to that bar and then some. I can recall one story in particular where someone walked across an internet cafe somewhere in China and stabbed another guy in the head with something long and pointy for wall hacking (fyi, the guy somehow lived).
I’m glad we’re talking about this.
So here’s my main question, as I had grappled with my fussy eyes and dealing with the Sync issue for a while.
I hadn’t actually thought of the fact that Sony kind of stole Xbox’s OG platform thunder in the form of an upcoming Shenmue and Psychonauts followup, strange times indeed.
What a clustermuck :/ . While I forget why the GBA version was “better” than the SNES (?) there does seem to have been enough re-releases without an awful 2d (or 3d) facelift around, so yeah, wtf steam/Square :/ . And then of course offering it as a downloadable on the one console I have no interest in (yes despite it…
Grrr, why must you tease me so by showing me that this exists, only to clarify that it sucks :P .
Yeah haha it was funny alright, so funny that it kind of deadened my urge to play after, and my CE of MGS3 collected dust ever since (well probably for the best given even that game needed tweaks to the camera few and a remake first and foremost).
Makes me kind of regret paying full price for Rogue Galaxy on the PS2 with the still yet to be realized intent to play it before it went out of print (and not yet realizing this was a possible outcome). But yay for it being upscaled? Guess I can toss my PS2 copy and stop worrying how well my PS3 supports it via it’s…
Glad to hear someone finally understands how I feel about the whole thing (I even have a World of Warcraft binge in 2005 plus a brief Everquest stint as my “thanks but no thanks” brief stint into MMORGs, and am glad to see that even the likes of WoW is starting to lose steam from the sound of it.
Oh, so it’s on steam too? That’s spiffy! Hopefully it works as well as the presumably native PSP version (I havent been following the tales series for a while so I dont really know?). Still, all the hooplah about how great of an RPG this is got me curious, compelled to grab it on steam once I get that steam machine…
Stupid question, but how will it work with existing saves if said saves are stored on another console? I assume some sort of data transfer or cloud save is needed?
I once fell for a girl who had a famicom controller tattoo on her pelvis. Noting that it was more because I loved the SNES, but repsecting that she took it a step further and got that version of it over the purple-y American one (also posted about said person in the “video game dating stories” article, hah).
I wouldn’t really say this qualifies as “best”, and likely not nearly as interesting as others, but there was a time period where, for three consecutive people in a row, I dated not only girl gamers, but ones with very cool tattoos.
I’ve been waiting for more articles like this for years. In part because a quick trip to a local Best Buy or somesuch rarely reveals a decent hands on selection, and how else is one to really know if they’ll even like a feel of a certain keyboard or mouse even? It certainly prevented me from spending more on Razer…
Wait what? I thought Rock Band was done (or at least Harmonix was with it)? Always was sad that the last version as well as that Piano peripheral didn’t really seem to take off.
To clarify, I never thought the blue bottom itself was rare, I do remember the shovelware, I’m speaking specifically on the instance of Rez..
“And Harmonix came on stage to show off the new game they’ve designed for the Apple TV, Beat Sports.”
