But, no....

So my brain kept auto-correcting it and I kept looking at this article wondering what the point was. Was Dragon Quest IV a bad game? Were they being tongue in cheek? Is it because it was on iTunes? *looks closer* ohhhhhhh, well maybe we can make cheap ripoffs of the entire series, a new "Dargon" is born! :P

For the cynical minded who feel like the Gawker network just thrives on click bait...well this one earned my clicks and likes on content/headline alone :P . Heck, I don't even like WoW! But flaming Corgi's? That's a thing I can get behind.

I remember reading a Kotaku article about this many months ago, but I don't remember how long. I remember it was long enough ago that the implication was that China might start selling last gen stuff, like Xbox360's.

To be fair, I don't recall Sony actually "promising" PS1/2 games? I just remember the Gaikai acquisition showed big promise to that (in fact, at the time it didn't seem like it would be used for any other purpose, and the idea that it might made me feel kind of icky...).

I was really excited to read this article and get some more information about this whole thing (when I first heard about the Gaikai acquisition I just automatically presume the point would be for true full catalog backwards compatibility....clearly that plan HAS changed...keeps changing, and keeps getting further and

This surprises me. The one thing I always remember about the regular Wii that struck me was that despite poor software sales, the hardware sales were always a money maker (like, even at launch, a rarity in most senses). In fact, it didn't seem to really matter that they didn't have a decent sell through rate on games

The big sticking point for me though is that it's based off like, one of my least favorite final fantasies (well, any MMORG version that got saddled with a number anyway, how is that finality?).

Ahhh one of those glorious games in which I couldn't figure was the more likely reason I didn't get to play it - because I didn't and never would own the equipment and/or I could never convince my parents to procure it for me :P .

You know, you guys made a similarly "scathing" intro to when you reposted EWW's Robocop video (which failed pretty hard at really pointing out why the movie was bad and more increased camp value).

And yet when I think about "ridiculous hacking movies" I think about Hackers and Jonny Mnemonic (yes I could never really spell it right). I suppose Johnny technically doesn't count because while it is a 90's movie, it takes place in the future....still pretty hilarious hax though.

As a Minnesota native, and victim of one of the worst winters we've had in quite a while this past year, I made it a point to DVR the series but not watch it quite yet... I just couldn't handle dealing with any more winter, even on screen :P .

I imagine this dude being lowered into the expo on a crane, as he has this intense look on his face, gripping the handles of the bike, and yelling VROOM VROOM VROOOOOM a the top of his lungs, having done that the entire trip to Shanghai, because pretending to ride/fly his light cycle bike was the best he was going to

I got the impression people were pretty disenchanted with the Constantine movie, most noteably that Keanu's rendition of Constantine wasn't spot on from the comics. But I'll just go ahead and say it, I thought Keanu actually made a good Constantine? Or a good American version of him? I know that that's probably a one

Surprised they still have discs of those Square games, even if they are greatest hits.

I was listening to Vanilla Ice's ninja rap into the background while viewing the .gif . Kind of awesome to watch the loop during "GO NINJA GO NINJA GO" :P . Makes me kind of want to make a YTMND out of that, heh.

I was extremely compulsive over getting sealed stuff back then (still am actually). It was why at risk of them thinking I had mental problems I would refuse any "display copy" of a game Gamestop claimed to have "new in stock" but then started putting the scratched up disc guts back in right in front of me (so you

Obviously I havent read the article tagged here about it, but what DID happen to Doom 4? I mean, I remember when they came out with Doom 3, I even remember getting a cute little pewter doom guy as a preorder bonus. I remember the expansion too. Both were...pretty underwhelming.

Serial codes? What? No, it was whatever Half Life 1 cost me, duh ;) . Actually that's not entirely true either, because it was long enough ago that my Grandma (rest in peace) gave me Half Life as a holiday present back then :P . And yeah beyond that the idea of ever paying for anything CS related was kind of
