Actually, him switching sides was a con. In the end, he pulls a massive con for the good guys. That was part of his redemption.

Well, Jack's massive personality shift did feel "unnatural", but that was kind of the point, so he would come to believe in his destiny.

Season three is the first truly serialized season. The first two flirted with serialized plots interlaced with episodic situations, but season three was really the first one with one major throughline that isn't dependent on the initial "they survived a plane crash and now have to get along". And I think some people

Rory was brought back to life because the entire universe was rebooted. That's worlds apart from simply rewriting time.

"3W" was the name of the organization.

That would be why it's a two-parter.

Except for "The End of Time", when it was revealed the Master actually had a cult dedicated to resurrecting him.

The other bit of cool foreshadowing was that the space station in "The Wheel in Space" was named "W-3", and also had a Doctor Chang.

The Rani is much more of an amoral scientist than the Master. All she wants is to experiment, Mengele-style, where the Master uses his vast Time Lord intellect to impress the Doctor.

Except for that moment where the Mistress says, "Clara, my Clara, it looks like I've chosen well," implying the Mistress is playing a long game with Clara.

All the classic Who stories involving the Matrix have shown Time Lords being able to physically enter it. As well, I believe there was an artifical intelligence inside the Matrix in Colin Baker's final two episodes.

The most refreshing thing about Steven Moffat's run has been his willingness to absolutely shatter the idea of linear time.

He might well have said that, but he also said the Master was the worst villain the show ever had and that he would never, ever bring the character back, and look how that turned out.

Yeah….no.

Given that the interior looks nothing like a cathedral and is far too tall to fit inside the building itself, I'm guessing the Mistress's TARDIS is parked right inside the door.

Clara did have a Maisie on her wall of post-its.

Also known as "the Jon Snow method".

That was the finale of series three.

I don't remember, honestly. I haven't watched that episode in years and years.
