Those insidious Disney marketers at work.

That was the joke.

I mean, say what you like about the tenets of National Socialism….

Not to mention the crew of six people in black jumpsuits and ski masks walking through a public hotel with machine guns….wait a sec.

I'm almost afraid to ask what the "F" stands for. Something tells me it's not "Fitz". And by "something", I mean experience with internet comment sections.

You've probably seen him before. He's the kind of guy that has bit parts in a ton of stuff. One day, you'll rewatch a TV show or movie and go, "Oh, that guy. I know him!"

They dedicate themselves because they care how it turns out.

I'm sure it was just an occident on his/her part.

This group of renegade Nazi scientists isn't evil, they're just men and women who are proud of their Germanic heritage, and yet dedicated to showing they, too, can fit into this modern, politically correct world.

Because obviously, that HYDRA agent is totally the kind of guy who would say, "I know we just took your dress off so our own agent could pretend to be you and we're about to torture you for information, but please, help yourself to some clothes. I mean, we're Nazis, not sexists!"

The twist got me too, but in fairness to me, Winter Soldier isn't on HBO yet.

And Antilles is a common last name. So Bail Antilles is like, the Star Wars version of John Smith?

As somebody who has experience with computer modeling, I can indeed verify that that is true.

It does seem like an episode from later in the season brought forward to capitalize on the droids, but does that mean that, after eight episodes, Kainan hasn't taught the kid a single thing about becoming a Jedi?

So is Bail even his name, or is that the Alderaanian styling for a senator?

It's like they took an episode designed to be backstory for the big guy, and then crowbarred the droids in. They're an afterthought to all the action, leading to some pretty egregious plot holes.

Don't say that to the people who fought in the Spanish civil war.

Saward is like one of those guys who reads Watchmen convinced that Rorschach is the hero. His stories were the 90s antihero comic books of their day.

I'm tempted to place the blame squarely on Saward for that. I don't think Nathan-Turner ever really had much of a vision for the show, because when Andrew Cartmel came on in '87, it did a complete 180 and became good again. During the JNT era, it seems like the script editor was the one who really held the reins.
