I thought someone had done a bad job of circling something in a screenshot with the microsoft snipping tool in that first picture of the interior.

Vinevitable.

The one in the middle is clearly a Cobalt

Pretty sure those are Luminas, dude.

I want to agree with you, but if you adjust for inflation, a base model Miata in 1989 would have been priced at $35,000 in today’s currency. That’s more than the $30,170 of the current base model. If any thing the car has gotten cheaper in real dollars.

I don’t know if posting this take on Jalopnik dot com should be considered brave or asking for it, but best of luck to you. You’re gonna need it.

It looks like a Civic Type R that was dragged through every aisle of an AutoZone.

Counterpoint: No.

True...but because I’m a dork as soon as I clicked on the article and saw the car my reaction was “Why is he driving a Ghibli?” and this was before I read the post.

I get that they are different cars, but come on they look damn near the same to me lol.

Let’s not forget that Stig comes from a very large family with cousins across the globe. Big Stig, African Stig, Australian Stig, etc...

There were actually 4 ... remember one M. Schumacher?

Manufacturing would return, to a degree, but it would take many presidents.
American-made goods would be tariffed in return around the world, reducing the quantity demanded for those items.

Even with the steel tariff in 2017(?), a few more steelworkers got jobs

Yes, correct.

he will... but he’s definitely an idiot. A complete and utter idiot with lots of money and yesmen around him thanks to said money.

Just like 50 years ago, USA cars will be too big, fuel hungry, low quality and expensive to compete with european, korean and japanese cars.

Godamnit, he’s dumb. This is one of two politicians that approximately half of our country want leading us..again. Please vote. We’ve been stuck having to listen to this moron for 9 years. I can’t take it anymore.

Word salad and confabulation, he may have more amphet... uh, “energy” I mean, than Joe but he doesn’t have much in the way of executive functioning going on up there. Most political speeches are fluff and filler but they are cohesive fluff and filler at least, this is fluff from a pillow that got sent through a wood

When President Trump takes back the White House again on January 6, you’ll have so much Tariff, it’ll be too much, too much Tariff, so much, so much Tariff, you’ll beg him to stop, you’ll look up and shout “Save us!”, and he’ll whisper “NO!”

Billions of people around the globe will soon be buying products proudly stamped ‘Made in the USA.’”
