I live in North Carolina. I keep seeing the suggestion on this site that the ‘squat’ is a thing minorities do, but I just don’t find that to be the case. It’s pretty much always a white dude in wraparound shades and a beard…probably recording a video that starts with ‘know what those liberals just don’t get?!’

Oh, gosh. That was literally the only thing keeping me from buying one. Take my money, please.

I bought a 996 C4 in May. It has a million miles, a salvage title, and a scruffy interior and none of that matters because it’s truly amazing to drive. I stuck my nose up at them for so long, which is a shame. I wasted all that time when I could have been driving one instead.

Wait. I’m pretty sure I’ve heard every Trump voter I meet telling me that gas prices are at an all-time high, and the only way to get them back down again is if he’s back in office.

‘Distracted’ is maybe the most charitable way possible to describe Musk’s current effect on Tesla.

It’s not all about EV tax credits. Remember that another Musk company, SpaceX, has billions in government contracts and would like more.

I mean, it really shouldn’t be a surprise. Political campaigns are funded by corporations and the wealthy. Trump does not care one bit about the appearance of a conflict of interest or corruption. Of course Musk would want to back the candidate who will be the most favorable to him. He has things to gain from it.

I lived in Ann Arbor in the early 2000s. If I recall correctly, GM parked a few concepts downtown once, a block from my office, including the Sixteen.

I am fortunate to live in the mountains and have a fun car to drive on and around them. It has 300hp and is honestly too fast to enjoy to its fullest. So I really don’t get cars like these beyond their being another Birkin bag to display in their closet.

I’m pretty sure that’s just the UN getting ready to invade and put Harris in power. Go figure the New World Order would use their favorite commie electric cars.

I really, really like the Montero. It’s a very neat alternative to a Land Cruiser or Land Rover. I really enjoyed the late 90s examples I test drove once.

I just can’t imagine Starliner ever flying again. What a disaster it’s been.

It’s true that NASA currently wants to de-orbit the ISS in 2030. That could change. But, in the meantime, having one of the precious docking ports taken up by a glitchy capsule they’re afraid to even detach would be a problem.

I’m not a cycling luddite. I love my carbon frames, disc brakes, and wider tires. Between all the gadgets on my road bike, I have seven batteries to manage, so I’m not really put off by having to charge another thing. But I haven’t been convinced yet by the cost/benefit of electronic shifting.

I recently bought a 996 whose AC ‘only needed a recharge.’ I was like, sure. That makes sense. It’s on a rebuilt title from front end damage, so I’m certain somebody built a functional AC system and just never charged it.

“You know, Elon, remember, I love electric cars, I think your car is great, I love it, but it’s not for everybody,” Trump said last month at an event in Florida.

I wonder if Elon Musk = Howard Hughes + social media.

Wait, you’re telling me he LIED ?!

What’s super interesting about Fain is that he went to the RNC and spoke on the stage. It was weird, because it appeared to be an endorsement, even though he didn’t say it was. He called Trump ‘a tough SOB,’ and that’s all that the crowd really heard. After that he spoke very clearly about what workers needed, and

I’m not sure I agree. Their biggest business is still launching many, many things via the Falcon 9, which is an outrageously successful rocket. They made a human-rated capsule and have flow close to 50 people to space with it. And they’ve built a very, very large network of internet satellites.
