I recently bought a 996 whose AC ‘only needed a recharge.’ I was like, sure. That makes sense. It’s on a rebuilt title from front end damage, so I’m certain somebody built a functional AC system and just never charged it.

“You know, Elon, remember, I love electric cars, I think your car is great, I love it, but it’s not for everybody,” Trump said last month at an event in Florida.

I wonder if Elon Musk = Howard Hughes + social media.

Wait, you’re telling me he LIED ?!

What’s super interesting about Fain is that he went to the RNC and spoke on the stage. It was weird, because it appeared to be an endorsement, even though he didn’t say it was. He called Trump ‘a tough SOB,’ and that’s all that the crowd really heard. After that he spoke very clearly about what workers needed, and

I’m not sure I agree. Their biggest business is still launching many, many things via the Falcon 9, which is an outrageously successful rocket. They made a human-rated capsule and have flow close to 50 people to space with it. And they’ve built a very, very large network of internet satellites.

I genuinely didn’t know that Chevrolet still made the Malibu.

2007ish Chevy Aveo. It was utterly abysmal. The car was practically brand new, but had pieces of interior trim falling off as I tried to use basic features.

Oh, guys. Come on.

I don’t necessarily agree with the claim that ‘anything but a Miata’ isn’t good. But I positively agree with the conceit of the argument. Sports cars are too damned fast to actually enjoy. When I bought one to enjoy in the mountains here, I wanted something I could use all of as often as possible.

I’ve only ever driven one C4. I autocrossed a former friend’s Grand Sport. It was a beautiful car, utterly immaculate. Honestly, I hated it. I remember the steering wheel and column had a shocking amount of flex in it, and the brakes were vague and wooden.

Wait. Sold at a consumer electronics store?

Dude is #notmybro.

He doesn’t understand or respect expertise. He has moved from business to business and claimed ‘great success’, even when it’s a dismal failure, so he continues to put people who have no idea what they’re doing into positions of authority.

But it doesn’t matter, right? Because Tesla, the company that built giant factories around the world to sell millions of cars for decades to come, isn’t a car company any more, right?

One of my greatest wishes in life is to tell Musk to just shut the fuck up.

It is getting so, so hard to find the overlooked sports cars now. I feel lucky I bought the one I did a couple months ago.

I have never used a column shifter I liked, including the one on my truck. I find them difficult to put in the right gear sometimes.

This is the worst timeline. The ‘worst deals’ are all the small cars normal people can afford. Manufacturers probably won’t make enough of them to meet demand because the low margins would hurt the ever-present need for higher profits Wall Street has.

This is like a middle-schooler running for class president on a platform of ‘only chocolate milk in the cafeteria!’
