The race car has all its lights. But I’ve never registered or insured it.

I bought a pickup a few months ago to tow my race car. Now I bike to work.

POTY

He doesn’t even care whether he’s right. He just wants applause. It’s all he lives for.

Hating the Aztek is so very easy, isn’t it? Yeah, it’s ugly, but it was also well before its time. Now crossovers like that rule the marketplace. It was innovative and different and had some quirky features.

Your son could not look more bored. I should know - I’m a fellow dorky dad who goes into way too much detail about bizarre stuff. Particularly car stuff.

While the Trump administration is in charge?

Nico Rosberg didn’t drive into his teammate intentionally after the race was over. He also wasn’t a racist dickbag towards Hamilton.

There’s no reason both can’t be true. I can claim you’re wrong while also being happy that you had good luck. My claim that you’re wrong isn’t a judgment of your character. I just think you’re mistaken, in a way that’s relatively common among RX8 owners (and past owners).

I’ve had RX8s for the past eleven (cry) years. I race one. And, respectfully, anybody who claims ‘if you take care of it and drive it properly, it’s as reliable as the day is long!’ is not aware of the full story. Anybody who says that is operating entirely on anecdotal information.

Yes. I race one. It is amazing and hilarious and terrible and I love it. :)

They were not, which was why I asked. I have no experience with AMGs.

Had a 2002 E-class wagon. It should scare anybody. But I found the car totally worth it.

But how often does that happen, in this specific case? I had a 2002 Mercedes wagon for a few years, and I had no problem getting parts. Likewise, I have a much older ‘83 300TD wagon, and I can get what I need for it.

All it would really cost you is her entrance fee for an autocross.

In 2001 we had a 10th anniversary SVX meet at the SIA plan. They brought out a pre-production Baja for us all to climb on and poke at.

“Its not the track its the cars and the drivers.”

Anybody complaining about Elizabeth not offering solutions is blaming the wrong person. You’re trying too hard to find a way she’s wrong, when all she’s doing is expressing a concern many share.

I don’t think it’s exclusively a tactic of the ultra-rich. You can find billions of eBay auctions starting the same way, with a starting bid well under the reserve.

The Century is as much a piece of Japanese culture as it is a car. Ken hit the nail on the head when he said that part of the reason you buy one is to be seen in the thing (and not even know that it’s happening, because you’re reclined, napping, behind a curtain isolated from the world outside).
