I’m a little surprised to see Mika driving this car without a HANS.

Kill.
I still want to know the final tow rating. There’s only the one engine and transmission in the configurator, and I don’t see a tow package.
This has been one of my guesses, as well. I’ve long wondered whether that marriage might appeal to Toyota.
Having worked for a few publicly-traded companies, and being at the short end of many decisions made in the name of quarterly results, I completely understand why Musk would want to do this.
In the late 90s I worked for Lockheed Martin in Burlington, VT. Our biggest customer was the General Dynamics Armaments plant in town. They built lots of Gatling guns, and mounted them on all sorts of things for their customers. So we’d see those vehicles on their way to or from the range to test those weapons.
“And where did Musk get Skeptic’s identity? The only logical explanation is that he relied upon the sleuthing of a Tesla fanatic who outed Skeptic. The fact he relied upon that...”

I’m gonna disagree on the cruise control. Highway traffic without cruise control is maddening.
I think Subaru deserves an honorable mention for discovering there was room on top of the engine in older models.
It looks to me like the carwash malfunctioned, leaving the driver unsure what to do.
Well I just can’t wait to see these tailgating and speeding through my local school zones.
“I would be curious to test it out with a heavier trailer, though, to see if it works as well closer to the car’s 5,000 pound limit.”
You say ‘half-assed’ and I say ‘easily implemented.’
God, but that’s eerie.
