Which one comes out looking worse?
Which one comes out looking worse?
You suck and are wrong.
An interstitial card in the movie confirms your math. All three of the titular women get one giving their name and date of birth.
You missed the '80s, huh?
Absolutely right on all counts.
I love when people react to other people overreacting by overreacting way, way more.
I was gonna say it's weird because Spaced had a bunch of great female characters, but I momentarily forgot that Jessica Stevenson (nee Hynes) was the co-creator of that show. It's a shame she didn't keep working with them.
But they're not really the ones you have to worry about. It wasn't a groundswell of white nationalists and extremists who won Trump the election. It was middle class Republicans. This is what the Republican party is. Trump just put down the dogwhistle and picked up a megaphone.
Do you not accept that Missy is the same person as the Master?
How unlike the famously conservative television show, Doctor Who!
What about them? I don't like them, but I'm not saying I like every band in existence. I'm just saying I can ignore the ones I don't, and that it's silly the way people turn their dislike of pop music into a moral crusade.
I DO NOT LIKE THAT BLUE DUDE
You know what? I'm a 34 year old beardo and Ed Sheeran's music isn't for me and that's fine. His intended audience loves him and there isn't a shortage of other shit for me to listen to; I have a decent record collection and a streaming account with access to virtually the entirety of recorded music. I don't see how…
I definitely had mixed feelings about the last two, as much as I like Capaldi. This season has had some low points but overall I'm still feeling good about it. I'll miss the 12/Bill/Nardole TARDIS team next year, and I'm pretty worried about who's going to replace Capaldi. I'd be up for Sacha Dhawan but if it's Luke…
Yes!
Forget it Enkidum, it's Hughestown.
Bingo. As it is, most of the elements people love to give Wright credit for were entirely Peyton Reed and Adam McKay's doing. Also, people complain (perhaps rightly) about the movie's female characters being sidelined, but by all accounts Wright and Cornish's version had virtually no female characters to begin with -…
Eh, even then World's End was pretty terrible IMO. I'm hearing great stuff about Baby Driver though.
Even smaller minority opinion: I fucking hate Scott Pilgrim.
It's pretty clear the nature of Lang's criminality was up in the air right through editing - there's the dialogue that posits him as a Robin Hood-esque whistleblower who otherwise had a legitimate career and a master's in electrical engineering, but then he's also a cat burglar and computer hacker who gets treated…
