I enjoyed bits of Dave Chappelle's recent specials. The trans stuff I just found lazy and bitter, more than anything else. I expected better craft from Dave. He seemed to just be prosecuting a lot of grievances. Louis CK's recent one also seemed a bit tired, but I've definitely been a fan of his work in the past.

I don't know; why don't you ask the guy with his hat in his hand trying to launch a crusade against people who say things he doesn't like?

I'll be brutally honest; your tight five could use some work.

Then do it. But do it well, and say something original.

The only funny thing about you guys is how much you overvalue your ability to get under people's skin. Well, that and how crushingly unfunny every single one of you is.

Sorry, I edited that post before you responded, and now it looks kind of disconnected from what you said.

This is a dumber response than I dared hope for. Thank you.

The other thing is, if political correctness is killing comedy, it's doing a bloody terrible job. There's a tremendous amount of great comedy around at the moment. And plenty of 'edgy' (if we understand edgy to mean 'willing to use slurs') comedians are doing just fine in this supposedly stifling environment. Bill

What a sad, petty god.

Don't be coy, Buzz. Do tell.

Haha, nah, just a bit of fun goofing on an ageing reactionary.

No-one's as upset as Adam Corolla is about young people having moved on from his brand of "comedy."

Imagine being over 50 and begging for money so you can hang around on university campuses pestering women and minorities. Then imagine what this fucking weirdo is really hoping to get out of it.

Quasi?

This is the least surprising thing I've ever read.

What do you think safe spaces are, and how do you think they work?

The irony is what they're really asking for is the entire world as their safe space.

I think that was just a play on the tedious "so much for the tolerant left" catchphrase popular among massive dickheads.

I've said it time and again - everything is projection with these people.

You mean Macbeth?
