And congrats to all the Cubs fans for getting another moment to pat themselves on the back for feeling bad about how they ruined this guys fucking life all those years ago. It’s ok now, he’s got jewelry.

Honestly, all modern design for 90 % of mass produced vehicles looks like shit. Be it the high belt lines and ass, or the oddly proportioned hood lines due to Euro ped safety standards (which I can’t quite grasp, due to people being too stupid to look both ways before they cross a street, so if they get hit, they…
We could explain this to you, but it will require a mathematician, a different kind of mathematician and a statistician…
How about “because of costs, Secret Service will no longer protect the man who colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 Presidential election”.
We need to overthrow this fucking government.
I can’t get over the fact that policy is being dictated via fucking twitter. What a shitshow.
I fucking hate this man with every fiber of my being. He’s such a cowardly worm of a man, with no respect for anyone who doesn’t kiss his ass.
“Gregorius lasted more than seven full seconds...”
That number means nothing to most of us. Car companies don’t advertise 0-186 times and nobody here has ever timed how fast their car can reach 186. It means nothing. We have no frame of reference. You shouldve at least included the 0-186 times of other cars for reference.
You really don’t, though*.
I’m not here to say whether Torre is a bigot or not, Hernández may have a point in regards to white umps getting promoted. I do know that Hernández doesn’t get to work World Series games because he’s a fucking terrible umpire.
Damn, why does it look so ugly there? It looked way better in all the other pictures I’d seen a while back - maybe the proportions seem off when you see an actual human near it.
This race was further proof that the prototypes are rubbish to watch. The GT classes will forever be the best part.
Yes, a pitch that crosses the foul line is a ball. As the strike zone is the width of the plate, and the foul line starts at the corner of the plate, this is definitionally true. As the batter swung the bat between the time that the pitcher released the ball and when it crossed the foul line, he definitionally offered…
I’m not sure how much fun that practice swing would have been. Watching a player get a K on a stupid thing was pretty fun though.
You’re wrong.
Trying to interpret if a swing in the batter’s box was “real” or “serious” or whatever motive the batter had in their mind would be utter madness and lead to a billion bad calls either way (especially with bad ball hitters in the Vlad Guerrero mold in the universe). It has to be interpreted as real, until and unless…
It is the correct call, it doesn’t matter how ridiculously far outside the pitch is, it was valid. If he’d taken the faux swing after the ball crossed into foul territory, I think it would’ve been ok as the ball would have been dead at that point.
If the pitcher is on the rubber and starts his motion towards the plate, the ball that leaves his hand is a pitch. If the batter swings while the ball is live, it’s a strike. Joking swing, practice swing... doesn’t matter, it’s a swing.
