I think its a horrible angle to pass back to the keeper, and all it would take for him to completely lose his line to it was taking his eye off for one second to check the position of Benzema.

That’s childhood relationships though. One day you’re getting married to someone on the playground the next day you never talk to them again, etc etc
In what situation does it make sense to put the ball roughly, moving at almost a 90 degree angle to its intended target, equidistant between a goalkeeper who will have to come forward and a charging striker with nothing in between them?
I think he misjudges the angle. It’s coming at him almost laterally. All it would take is checking the position of the oncoming striker for him to completely lose it. It’s a boner for sure, I just don’t think the ball should ever have been served up like that roughly equidistant from the keeper and a striker.
Soon as…
I mean in fairness to this guy, the ball never should’ve been passed back to him in the first place. It looks to me like he tried to respond to the striker’s pressure by going down and trying to get it with his hands until he remembered that the pass had come from his own teammate so he couldn’t. Even if he had…
I mean, talk to most of the movie industry about China then. I know its not the same in terms of social repression, but you can only watch so many random scenes of things like Tony Stark having his heart fixed in China by a doctor who just HAPPENS to be played by a famous Chinese actor before you wonder what that’s…
Yeah. Coming from a goalkeeper’s perspective there really shouldn’t ever be a pass like that back to the keeper that can be pressured that way. That striker is GOING to be faster than the keeper and leave him scrambling and that’s when mistakes happen.
My coach once told me that if you don’t immediately get up and start screaming at your defense, no matter the circumstances of the goal, you’re playing the position wrong. He was dead bloody serious too. Thought you’d bounce back mentally if you just blamed your bullshit on the sweeper.
They hired her so they could have a smarter conservative than Elizabeth Hasselbeck and ACTUALLY SUCCEEDED
All that says is that while he’s supporting the side of the issue that would result in poor and minority kids not having access to his kids school, he didn’t outright SAY that’s what he wanted. Not exactly debunking.
Last sentence is relevant: “Although ethnicity and financial status were both issues in the debate, it…
God that has to be it doesn’t it?
I mean we literally did get an Adam Warlock tease at the end of the last GoTG so that might not be the best example
No, they said she IS like that woman, not that she looks like her. Quote me any place where her appearance is the subject of the joke. Not how she makes her makeup, not her job. Her physical appearance. Quote it.
Two things:
Not attacking those things, but recognizing that someone with the privileges of being wealthy and powerful is not going to be harmed by jokes. And let’s be clear here, talking about how she makes eyeliner out of lies does not constitute joking about her physical appearance, so fuck off with that.
Yeah this. I think that All the President’s Men really fucked up a couple of generations of American journalists into thinking that they’re crusaders for right and justice, when they can’t even get a sniff of people who are doing actually dangerous work in journalism.
Punching up is not bullying, it’s trying to stop the guy up top from stepping on your fingers.
I would die to watch British wrestling with Regal on commentary. Ooo Regal as face announcer and Finlay as heel
Eh, he also benefited a lot from the rise of national television. People just didn’t care as much about watching small territorial promotions when they could see bigger national stuff, the McMahons were just the guys who figures that out and got in first. That’s not to say he’s a nice guy, just that there were other…
