I always liked the dwarf cleric but I can’t figure out why for the life of me.

Probably because very few people who live in DC are actually FROM DC, so they have a hard time mustering the kind of bullshit you’d see in Philadelphia or whatever
Someone’s never been to a Marlins game
He reminded me a bit of Stafford. Has the mobility and toughness but not the accuracy or decision-making, but there’s time for that. With a good running game, a veteran slot receiver, and a safety blanket like Zach Miller you couldn’t really set a rookie up for a better introduction to starting in the NFL. The Bears…
That motherfucker is wearing compression sleeves
You mean after Elon Musk made a point of working with the president and not leaving his tech council until the last possible moment, the feds did something questionable that might benefit him? I simply can’t believe that.
I feel like I get this at one level because it’s to some degree a natural outgrowth of being more conscious of these issues. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being conscious of what you’re saying and doing around women and other marginalized groups as an individual as long as you and your broader…
Yeah that’s what I was thinking too. I don’t know anything beyond drug awareness training I had as an RA in college, so I’m not exactly an expert, but that looked more like crushed up pills to me.

Speaking as a socialist, I think you’re probably right about full communism as Marx envisioned it, in the sense that we’ll always have to account for, and to some degree compromise with, people who don’t have the best interests of society at heart (i.e. capitalists)
Communism pretty much is just theory seeing as nobody has managed to actually achieve it yet
Love how they quote someone supporting him AFTER noting that the original complaint was held back until tenure because of fear of reprisals. Wondering if that’s coincidental or not.
It’s kind of a tough thing, cause on the one hand its a style mostly associated with black hair today. On the other hand, historically they popped up all over the world at a similar time. There are bog bodies from Ireland with dreads, evidence of dreads in ancient India (possibly the oldest dreads) so like...I dunno,…
Oh my god that’s why they wear so much patchouli. I get it now!
I never even realized buzzer timing was a thing until I talked to a teacher of mine who had been on the show once and lost. Once a year he would show his Jeopardy appearance in class and he explained that part of his problem was that he kept trying to buzz in early which made it so he couldn’t buzz in at all.
As I recall this is what Arthur Chu did as well. As much as he was good at trivia he also had patterns, buzzer timing, and question selection down to a science.
I am a librarian with degrees in medieval history. May I join? I teach sometimes
Exactly, it’s like you’re claiming the credit of someone whose above watching television even though there’s not a chance in hell you actually don’t.
If I did I don’t think it would change your mind, so why shoudl I go to the effort? But what the hell. At a talk at Minnesota state he referred to a Buzzfeed reporter as a “media Jew”. http://forward.com/fast-forward/358909/milo-yiannopoulos-slams-thick-as-pig-st-media-jews/
