There is no reason not to own a Wii U. I was told by a bunch of friends that I'd miss out on "hardcore" gaming by choosing the Wii U. Oddly enough, even after almost a decade of being an Xbox guy, I don't miss hardcore games at all. And several of those friends have gotten the Wii U since I got mine.

Any of the Pikmin games. They relax me, and playing them is always a wonderful experience. I find it comforting when I'm sick, in the same way I find binging the original Star Wars trilogy comforting when I'm sick.

As an Arsenal supporter, particularly as a Stateside one, I wholeheartedly agree with all of this. I have some friends who support Spurs, and we like to get into it in a fun way more than anything else. Just some well-meaning name calling and ribbing. Most Gooners I know are pretty similar, "hating" Tottenham in

Going to Charleston is like stepping into a Civil Rights time machine designed to show you what 1860 felt like in the South.

Glad to see some more Zeta love. It really is the height of the franchise.

I never played the first game, but SR 2 was definitely in the same spirit. It was maybe a little more grounded, but not by much. You could still have a gang that dressed like ninja, you could ride bikes clearly inspired by Akira, and there were entire mini games devoted to showing people your junk.

My character in

Vinland Saga is available for the Kindle App on Amazon.

I find this show completely un-watchable. There are so many dumb changes to history, and so many obvious oversights. Ragnar is part history and part legend, but it's pretty much impossible for him to have been in the first Lindisfarne raid (CE 793). Besides, that's not nearly as awesome as the Siege of Paris in CE

I was just about to talk about that portion of the manga, glad you mentioned it. As much as I love the stuff from before the farm/slave arc, that arc is what really solidified the series for me. I think the series really comes into its own there, showing a truly mature assessment of the main character through his

Man, this. I was weighing my console options around E3, and was totally blown away by the Nintendo conference. I started looking at my pros and cons, and the Wii U really had a lot going for it that I hadn't considered before. Price, exclusives I care about, free online (some complain it's got issues, but so does

Yeah, I know about why the pro-rel system won't work here. I just wish it would. Undoubtedly, MLS is lagging behind other major leagues. One the one hand, it remains profitable. That's a big plus in a soccer league. On the other hand, it's a league made up of players who no longer wish to play internationally and

You want to get people in the US interested in Soccer? I got the solution for you.

Bro, I hate to break this to you: Tim Howard has been plying his trade in Europe since 2003. First, for Manchester United, then for Everton since 2006 (loan 2006-2007, full transfer 2007). And he and his beard are just as glorious in the PL as they have been in the World Cup.

I'm glad to read these responses from you all. I think it's awful the way Germans and Nazis are often conflated in our social consciousness. If you need proof of it, just look at the spike in uses of the term "Nazi" on Twitter when Germany scored a goal against the US last Thursday in the World Cup. As a student

I think what I'd be most interested to see is Zelda games that begin exploring their settings a bit more. While I have loved every game in the series that I've ever played, the worlds are often a bit too similar in terms of feel for me. Even if the world is the same, since time plays such a role in the series then

Like people are saying, just jump to the season 2 finale and go from there. I honestly ended up really liking Enterprise after I skipped the first two seasons. In retrospect, the Enterprise cast has ended up being the cast I would work with if given the chance.

I've been wanting this game to be made for years. It would be so boss. This new partnership gives me hope.

Also, 2 consoles, you + 7 friends, Grifball.

Easy to learn controls, easy to understand mechanics, fully customizable game modes, 4-players on a single console. Perfect for parties, perfect for drinking games (300% speed, low-grav, assassinations only, hammers. Have at it.), both competitive and cooperative multiplayer, and fairly universally known. How is

Personally, I think it would make it better. Back in Madden 2007, the be a pro mode allowed you to call press conferences and be a jerk if you wanted. It affected the relationship with your team and others. I thought it was a cool mechanic and always wanted more. If the purpose of these modes is to make the player
