This is true. I helped a lady with a W123 300D who ran out of diesel and told her to call Mercedes Roadside. Sure enough, they sent someone to purge her lines with a gallon of diesel. It did take something to the tune of 2 hours for the guy to arrive, but he came nonetheless. I'm from NJ.
