But will it be turn based? I miss the original turn based battles. Didn’t care for the sequels.

You know what? Forget the blackjack... And the hookers. Ah just screw the whole thing.

I think it would be funny to see a game implement a safe zone or tunnel all the way across a map at it’s widest point. Just so you could measure it.

Does this mean we get chocobos in Smash too?

Time to give credit where it’s due:

This looks great and reminds me of D&D: Heroes, such a fun game. But you can also jump!

If you like that sort of mechanic, definitely check out Dr. Mario and all it’s offshoots as well. Basically the same type of mechanics at play there. In fact, there are quite a few falling block versus games all with slightly different themes.

“Dogs of war”?

They have definitely come out and said they want to get every amiibo out there and available so that any collectors will be able to actually complete their collection. They will do reprints, but they’re still working through the initial lineup. It all takes time.

Glad to see stores are getting wise. I know at my local Gamestop there are managers who will ‘reserve’ amiibo stock for certain customers (yes, multiples of the same amiibo). I think it’s a load of BS that they can even do that. I’d much rather have a system like this, first come first serve. And I have to work! Still

I really don’t think this is intentional. I get that the public statements could very well be appeasing BS, but come on. It would make NO business sense to create this artificial scarcity. I’d bet there are just as many people trying to order ASAP so they be sure to secure theirs as there are people who have totally

“The group is open to everyone, so you—yes you, Richard (for the purpose of this article, you are all temporarily named Richard)—can get in on the action”

I really wish they’d listen to the fans about a true Mario RPG sequel. I do not accept that Paper Mario fits that. Especially any other than the first (which was at least turn based combat style). But I want to see some of the old characters: Mallow!

Any word on what platforms this will be on?

Ha. Yeah. The hanafuda and gambling days of old. Ah, the memories. :P

If Nintendo were to do something smart, like have their “app” function more like an emulator, and you purchase different games within as an in-app purchase, they would be able to create their own little ecosystem within the mobile market, similar to the Disney Movies Anywhere app.

Konami has a particular knack for drilling holes in their own ship. All we can do is just sit back and watch it sink.

This is exactly what games have been missing out on from the good old days. The depth and mystique around trying to figure out the inner workings of the game. Nowadays with the stance of getting the most money out of their development, publishers/developers want consumers to access every bit of their content. It’s

True, they did not. But before video games, they were definitely a toy company. This was one of their more notable toys that they developed:

I can see why the gamepad is limited in some ways, which frustrates people. You only get one, forcing players to share. Replacement of broken/faulty parts can also be an issue since they aren’t sold separately in stores. However, the battery life is more than long enough for me to spend nearly an entire day gaming. It
