Thanks, I will try that out.

I used to wait with breathless anticipation. Now I’ll just read the wikipedia entry if it comes out. I’ve moved on. That said, I have no ill will towards Mr. Martin. I was a big fan of his with the Wild Cards series, and the first three Song of Ice and Fire books are killer.

Thanks for the list, and recommendations in the comments. I’ve downloaded Fit for a King, Eye of Ra, Eldritch and a Mortician’s Tale because they looked interesting and were earlier on the list. I will look for the others now as well.

Yes, you are correct. We are a physical copy family as far as the Switch goes. For the retail games, anyway. That is a valid point which I was not considering. Alas, there are no physical games for the Steam Deck.

And tool tips would still be helpful.

Yeah, but tool tips would be better.

Neat. I still wish there were Tool Tips.

That’s not how tool tips work. And there are environmental effects as well, that are not caused by items in your inventory, New Guy.

I really wish there was some type of tool tip or something to explain all the icons that show up under your stamina bar.

You can buy it from only one place, and manufacturing is a bit throttled across the industry. I think it is way too soon to say it is a success.

No, you don’t need a Micro SD card to fit anything on a Switch. Switch games, in general, have a much smaller footprint than PC games. We have five Switches (3 regular, 2 light, thank you so much Animal Crossing) in our house, and only one has expanded storage. And $530 for a machine that cannot match the power of the

I’ll be surprised if this succeeds. It’s expensive compared to consoles. The low end model can’t store anything significant as far as big first party games go. It looks like it requires a lot of tweaking to get ideal settings for games, and it comes installed with access to a game store with some games you can’t even

Well, better a Squid than what was named after Rick Santorum.

None of the workers saw any of the money, but they stayed employed.  Workers need places to, you know, work.

Purchased.

Nothing wrong with not liking a game, for sure.

Fair point.

No, but that is a nice way to dismiss my argument for you. It has no pause feature. That is a major flaw, and really shitty UX design. I could go on. But you missing the tutorial because you were afraid to jump in a hole is not one of its flaws.

It just sounds like you were living up to your name. But I don’t know, maybe I have some super power of intellect and deduction and could figure out that, with an npc telling me to go down a hole at the beginning of the game that maybe, umm, it was a good idea.

I never said you couldn’t miss it. But is not hidden or obscured. All it is missing is the blinking arrow labelled “tutorial this way”. Maybe a little ball with wings should have popped out of your pocket and told you to listen.
