Because I am in the process of actually playing through the game I post on every article about it. I just finished the major boss fight of the Liyue section. It was actually quite fun, and a nice change of pace. Even though it immediately followed a standard boss battle. Which I found to be a nice challenge, requiring

I agree with the ease of development and support that console manufacturers provide. I don’t buy that hardware parity is not an issue. People can have so many combinations of  hard drives, video cards, cpus, etc... that it must add some amount of effort in developement. The market share claim surprises me. I fully

How well I know. I’m well practiced at it.

Yes, I do think that.

You think the fear of piracy was keeping the pc gaming market down? Not the market share? Not the variance in the platform hardware? Interesting.

I mean, their last game came out in 2018. I think they’ve had time to write and record all the dialog.

Hopefully they’ll just remake all the new Bethesda games for the Playstation.

But the game was boring. Genshin Impact is fun to play. All in my opinion, of course.

I’ve played the game for about the same amount of time. I’ve had absolutely zero feelings of needing to spend any money. I’ve been slowly (very) learning how to play the game, but the quests have all been very straightforward. Perhaps I am fortunate in that I don’t yet feel the need to min-max my characters or

No. I’d call them criminals. And also entitled. Entitled is what I called the Genshin players behaving this way in the thread on the article about Genshin Impact yesterday. My attempt to make the analogy more appropriate was in no way meant to defend anybody’s actions. I’d happily eat the slice of pepperoni. But I

I can’t name one MMO that did whatever you are saying, because I don’t care to look. I don’t have any interest in MMO launch populations.

Yeah, me too. Being fairly new almost certainly helps in my case.

Nobody is paying for the Anniversary event gifts. It would be more like the pizza placewanted to thank you for being a loyal customer by giving you a free piece of pepperoni instead of a slice of pizza or a whole pie.

Could not agree more, on both counts.

I hated Mayo for the first 35 years of my life, but I would tolerate Miracle Whip in things like Tuna salad and on my grandmother’s burgers(with a lot of pepper). Then I came to my senses and now I love Mayo. But Miracle Whip is fine as well.

Dude, the hate is strong with you. I’ve seen the odds, so I was surprised at the characters I have received. But you were right, it was 76 wishes. 20 Novice, 14 character and 42 permanent.

I never said anything about Mihoyo being entitled to anything. I enjoy the game, and I liked the anniversary theater.

Shocking. I’ve never seen something like this happen before.

Do you get more characters through wishes when starting out? I’ve gotten 3 five star and 3 four star characters from around 60 wishes.

I’ve only been playing for like 3 weeks. But the anniversary animation that you get, personalized to your experiences playing the game, is a fucking brilliant anniversary celebration of what you have accomplished (or not) in the game. IMO. Entitlement comes in not getting what you feel you were owed based on your own
