Making my point for me? The idea of free speech is that we should silence ideas that we might disagree with. Gizmodo writers have been deleting comments for years that they don’t politically agree with. I’m just talking about ‘if the commenters could just be more like normal people maybe this whole site wouldn’t melt

It’s not the editorial direction of the website. It’s the extreme direction of a very select few writers like Novak, McKay, Pulliam-Moore.

The ideology that a person having more money than the people around them being immoral and evil is pretty extreme. Especially when you consider that Americans living below the U.S. poverty line are still in the top 1% of all wage earners in the world.

I’m always shocked to see it. But I always rebound quickly. Can’t let something like that put a damper on your day.

Not surprised my response to you was deleted. The censorship on this place is and always has been a joke. But no. I won’t go somewhere else.

95% of the content is great. And then 5% comes along that wants to talk about woke culture and people are just sick of it.

Im not trying to force anything on anyone. Just calling out blatant bullshit where I see it. Apparently you think people should just stand down and cave to bullshit? Isn’t that what this whole petty movement is about? Stand up for the “little guy” because the big overlords came in?  Clearly you see your hypocrisy

The fact that you can even read the headlines of the last week’s worth of articles on Gizmodo, a tech site, and somehow think there’s *not* an agenda and ideology being pushed to the readers is proof enough that I shouldn’t be paying attention to a thing you write.

I know. How dare someone have the gall to say they wish a video game blog would write about video games instead of pushing their beliefs about trans people on the audience and call them horrible if they disagree. I sure better go the fuck somewhere else. Surely my comments can’t possibly be as valid as someone with

And right on cue, here come the splinter rejects that don’t understand the definition of facism. Once again, proving my point that we should leave jalopnik for cars and not your 5th grade understanding of “why we so desperately need socialism in America”.

You seemed to be very confused.

This is not surprising coming from gawkerModo. You are making my point very, very clear. Thank you.

That’s the price of admission for commenting on blogs where the authors are almost all far leftists. The readers tend to be skewed to the left. That causes the comments to be skewed to the left. Just because your voice might be in the minority on a blog like this doesn’t make you wrong. And just because they’re the

You can be successful while being biased. No one is arguing deadspin’s success. The leanings didn’t hurt my feelings, just caused me to breeze over articles that push propaganda as if it’s the one and only truth.

Counterpoint: There are lots of people that want forced ideological political viewpoints out of our videogames, comic book reviews, sports articles and tech blog. We just don’t comment nearly as much as this extreme left echo chamber so it kinda skews the perception.

Counterpoint: Jalopnik doesn’t use cars to push socialism and Orange-Man-Bad syndrome. Pretty sure we’ll be fine as long as the Deadspin and Splinter commenters who don’t have a home don’t invade this place. Gizmodo was pretty much instantly overrun with Splinter leftovers. The comments section there went from

Let’s keep the Splinter/Deadspin leftist garbage from ruining Jalopnik too, please.

It’s a bit more nuanced than that. I agree, fuck this guy (not sure what chuds are but he’s probably very chuddly). But considering 62% of women have rape fantasies, sometimes really asshole guys can’t tell the difference between how a woman wants them to act in bed and how women want them to act in public. Very

You do realize that in this “fiasco”, they simply told the students and coach what they were doing and asked what they wanted to show up under “I am” and they got to choose. Arielle said she’s not mad about it at all. She knew that the others chose their future professions but she said she first and foremost

Maybe you didn’t read that those individuals came up with the quotes themselves. And Arielle herself said she wasn’t upset at all; she chose those words and first and foremost that’s how she identifies herself, as African-American. She was proud of it. So I’m not sure what this has to do with Trump. This has to do
