This is true, too! I got over their gimmicks a few years ago. I think it kicked in when I saw them repeating seasonally and realized there was a lot of “oh that was good but not so good I want to buy it again.”

“Ethically sourced palm oil” is snake oil. Avoid it altogether by choosing products that don’t use it. Which is advise that applies anywhere and not just Trader Joe’s. I’m not sure why you’d single out a retailer who like any other grocery store sources their products from a huge number of other companies. The only

Taco Bell has an online ordering site that’s perfect for finding things like this out. Hell I just typed “double chalupa box” in a search engine and the first link brought me right to it

I’m sure they didn’t even consider that. You should send them an email and inform their electricians!

I’m not sure I understand this expectation from a Lifehacker article. Why would this offer a deep dive on last year’s issues? It’s a warning about how this will impact people’s lives this year.

It seems to be a more advanced take on the Palm Companion from a year or two ago.

Eh? I literally just booted up my 3DS to play a DS game one week ago (Final Fantasy III).

Definitely makes more sense now that you’ve expanded on it and pointed out that it would support docking but not include a dock and so on. Ultimately prices are determined by the market and not entirely based on cost of materials, production, R&D, etc., so $200 was arbitrary to begin with. If people don’t buy it we

“It’s backwards compatible if you buy two different handhelds.” Not sure that this is a very strong way to make this point. As we’ve seen over the years backwards compatibility doesn’t sell systems and it’s just something people complain about on the internet when it isn’t there. I’m on the fence for this as a 3DS

Portability is a big part of the selling point here. They don’t have the same feature set so if you actually want all of the things the Switch can do then go buy that used or refurb Switch.

So you’re saying you’d pay $200 for a smaller Switch? Part of that $100 off is that it has less features not just the size. I’m not getting the logic.

That’s not how it works and the review even covers why. Please read that section again.

Linguistically, your correct.

Honestly I was just muting some of these people. Thanks for the tip! Not all of them do a million stories serially and it’s just one night.

I’m hoping for a SE replacement surprise announcement but barring that this is likely the route I’ll go. I want an upgrade but don’t need the absolute latest and greatest.

That’s not what mansplaining means. I just don’t understand why you’d look up “Chrome” instead of looking up “Chromium” instead. Just look at what the text says on the very first Google hit for Chromium.

Next time don’t assume one word or term means another. Look up the word you don’t know and save yourself some hassle!

The article doesn’t mention Chrome. Chromium is mentioned and the context as for why is given in the article.
