The difference between the golden episodes and the last two seasons are the complexity of the storylines and how they ingeniusly wrap together in a grand, surprising and hilarious crescendo at the end of the episode. Just trying to shove in "funny lines" constantly doesn't make it good or original enough to compare

Episodes like "The Voice", "The Dealership", "The Frogger" and "The Maid" were 10 times worse than anything we'd seen in the previous several years on Seinfeld. You'd have to be comically blind not to see a huge difference in the originality of season 9 compared to the preceding seasons. The plots were simple and

The last two are family Guy seasons 5 and 6, not golden age family Guy

Really? To who? People sitting in homes for the mentally impaired?

They turned George into a total and utter parody of his character beyond the point of it even being funny, I just felt he was pathetic and not even laughable. Having him drive Susan's parents to the end of the Hamptons because he didn't want to own up to a lie was probably the lowpoint for some reason for me, it

Its amazing how many people in the comments apparently feel season 8/9 of "Seinfeld" was just as well written and funny as earlier seasons. And her I was thinking most people on avclub were smart and discerning, guess I was wrong.

LOL, I seem to remember thinking "Veronica's Closet" was quite good until they retooled it and destroyed the show a la "Suddenly Susan".

No I disagree completely. Only lazy people who can't be bothered to put the effort into assessing all the shows they've seen fully seem to say that. Its easier just to say "Seinfeld is as good as its gonna get" but Seinfeld was really only on top form for 4 seasons and it had its fair share of duds. Season 9 of

Oh God, so many bad episodes to come. "The Voice" was a pathetic episode, did they really think the characters doing a silly voice was funny?

*SPOILErS*

Holy shit an A, hopefully a sign of things to come. I've been watching some season 2 episodes of TBBT an they're damned hilarious.

Pipe down

She becomes an enjoyable character to watch but she doesn't have the depth of many of the other characters because the writers didn't really know how to deal with the joined Trill condition in the end. They just didn't seem to ever really get a grip on what it meant to be joined. And in the later seasons, Dax didn't

Don't expect many great insights into Dax's psyche, they pretty much give up trying to properly flesh out the character unfortunately, she's criminally ignored as her own unique character once Worf comes on too. The DS9 writers definitely made mistakes and one of them was not developing Dax clearly or satisfactorily.

Whats with the lack of grading :'-(

How am I trolling exactly?

Why would people want more bother in their life?

Except the actual problem is that the younger, more educated people who watch shows like "Community" and "30 Rock" and "Parks and Recreation" don't want to be Nielsen families for obvious reasons. Its the Nielsen system you should be blaming.

Season 2 of TBBT is pretty great

Well everyone needs to eat. I do love the guy
