LOL about Dance with Dragon because I actually did take notes when reading it. I do it with most books I read its the English major in me.

I am only on book 3 right now because I check them out at my library, but I like them but I hope they add more pov characters. Book 1 needed one more pov character in my humble opinion.

I believe that is her next step. She knew they were working together, but know she needs to know what they were doing. To get that answer she needs Mao to trust her.

Avasarala's plan is tricky because either Mao does something crazy and, makes a misstep leading to his exposure or he backs off completely and slows down his plans, and she never gets him.

They have scientist who create and grow food. Think highly advanced GMOs

I believe the protomolecule just turned Eros into what it needed is how we are suppose to look at it.

Exactly he has finally realized sometimes people learning the truth would cause more chaos and it is better to suppress in some cases. Transparency is not always the solution.

I have the same question. Does he want earth to have a monopoly on the galaxy? Does he want to be in charge of the UN? He seems in over his head as well.

The scientist from Protogen says the protomolecule is learning and adapting to its surroundings. The protomolecule moved Eros.

Well they said last week the protomolecule was learning and changing each time and it moved because it wants to finish building. They could not keep it hush forever when the protomolecule wants to be discovered.

I agree with you that Book 2 should move faster because almost all the characters except one has been introduced and established. I felt that went slow with Book 1 storyline to get viewers acclimated to what the overall story is about.

I have read the books and I would say him and Jon Snow from Game of Thrones are two characters where their intentions are good, but they never think about the consequences of what they are trying to do.

I agree that Holden when he wants to play moral high ground is annoying because sometimes there is no good choice or bad choice. The fact he still has not figured that out with all they have seen is what get on my nerves.

Well I commented last week about Errinwright either being ignorant or too confident to notice Avasarala was on to what he was doing. Her having a go a Mao just proves he was both in this situation.

Something is going on with his relationship with his father. On one hand when he talks about his father he sounds fond of him, but the memories are telling a different story.

I was thinking that because of the white clothing, being a therapist, and being mysterious.

Does Melanie aka Jean Smart have any abilities at all or is she a mundane human?

I am wondering should David completely trust Melanie at this point? We know she wants to win the war, but what is she gaining in this at all?

Does the yellow eyed gross man symbolize for David when he is feeling anxious and afraid because that seems to be when David sees him.
