If I knew Sharon Stone personally, I would high-five her for that comment.

Funny, but barely related story.
I DO NOT advocate wearing contacts for 6 months. However, as a poor student, I often wear mine longer than I should (though I do take the out at night) because contacts are super expensive and I also can't afford a new pair of glasses after breaking mine two years ago. So,I do have a little empathy for her.
equally guilty. I have DAILY DISPOSABLES that I'll wear for ages at a time. I just had my checkup-doc says that my eyes look terrific, wrote a new prescription for more (which I don't need, since I barely go through them)
I've not removed my lenses since Friday. Also they were supposed to last me a month but I know I'm on month 3 or 4 because I haven't been able to visit a doctor yet. Also I only have one good eye because I had a piece of firework fall on my other one when I was 9 and can't see much through it.
The best thing about aging is that the older I get, the fewer fucks I give about the opinions of dickwads like these.
I used to be a Kindergarten teacher and the first lesson I learned was that children, almost without exception, are all little sociopaths.
First... I applaud this mom for her patience. Second, that little girl is going to be all kinds of successful in life.
This is unfortunate. I would hope the replies would be the level of analysis and/or humor here. I think mom has dealt with this before, probably filmed it for dad, figured she could share it with friends, now her kid is notorious. what an interesting situation.
They say kids learning to lie at this age is a necessary step in cognitive development. It signals higher thought processes and their intent is not really to deceive but to tell a story how they see it in their heads.
I like how she throws jazz hands midway through as a possible solution to the problem. I'm going to use that in the future.
The kid's cute but I am even more in awe of this mom's parenting skills!
You'd be surprised. I've seen a decent number of missing people reunited with their families through my work. Sometimes people jump into action, sometimes they just freeze even when they're sure of the situation. And this guy probably wasn't sure what to believe. I think he thought his son was dead at first since…
Wow, that dad basically acted so incredibly shellshocked by that information and got so emotional about it that it's like he just got exonerated on national TV.
this reminds me of Patrice O Neal saying if he ever goes out sailing he's gonna bring a white baby wearing Ugg Boots and clip it to his belt in case he gets lost
Maybe I'm gullible, but I believe the father had no idea where his son was. There are a lot of unknowns operating here, but it's a fact that FBI and police had checked the house and the basement more than once over the past two weeks.
Yes. And even though we account for only 5% of the world population, we comprise roughly 25% of the world's prisoners. And most of them aren't locked up for violent crimes, either. This is the fruit of the Drug War, and the for-profit prisons that (via the 13th amendment to the constitution) use legal slave labor from…
for the third time. Did you read the article? Cuz SHE IS THE ONE THAT SAID SHES "BLACK ENOUGH"
We simply disagree on many fronts. I would prefer a black American to play Nina, but I don't care about that as much as 1) the quality of the acting and 2) the aesthetics being on point. Adepero is a great actress. So is Lupita. (It's also hard to argue that an African isn't qualified to play a slave . . . from…
People should be free to self-identify, but some people do not like being constantly misrepresented. In this case, it's real-life brown-skinned Black women of accomplishment being portrayed by lighter people. Would a casting director choose a woman with strawberry blonde hair for a Marilyn Monroe biopic sans wig?
