I'm fairly sure one can still use the original version 1.01 of Fences for free. Never seen enough of a benefit to upgrade to version 2 apart from the startup nag screen.

Very surprised they are not allowing users to authenticate through the Google authenticator app. I for one am not happy giving my mobile phone number to these companies.

I have recently gone through this process and can definitely recommend the second hand Onkyo TX-SR507 which I picked up on ebay for the equivalent of $100. I have it hooked up to a Roth Audio 5.1 system which I won at a charity event.
