Does this work with the Touchpad? The Wizmouse site warns that it does not work with touchpads.

These all look like great tips. Do you have a specific guide for setup of Lubbo's fan control and CPU parking? Also, can you remember how you installed latest AMD drivers please?

I just installed Win8 on my Macbook Air 2010 with Bootcamp last night. All the drivers are running as they should be. Had to buy an optical drive enclosure as installing from USB was not supported in my Bootcamp/MBA.

@Adam

Agreed. I'd also be interested in seeing information on router and custom firmware setups. Perhaps also router setup such as port forwarding.

Great to see Springpad get some love. I've recently started to use this instead of Evernote and I feel it works better for me and the way I like to take notes and collect ideas. The support is also excellent for a relatively small company.

Unfortunately despite trying numerous different tutorials to install Windows on MBA using a USB flash drive (no optical drive) I have had no luck. The create USB disk option in Bootcamp is greyed out and although I can drag the partition size in Bootcamp there is no actual active partition button to create the

The customize is not coming up for me in the subscriptions drop down of Google Reader Cstomizable? Anyone else having this problem?

@Whitson (don't know why replies aren't working in comments at the mo)

Aaah okay. Makes sense. That's been putting me off reusing an old PC as an HTPC, might give it a go for second TV room after all. Thanks for the great article btw. Always look forward to this series. ** Shame replied comments seem to be broken right now.

I really like Opera too, but unfortunately it does not have full support for my 3 fav addons: Xmarks, Lastpass and Adblock Plus (disabled on sites such as Lifehacker).

It's Chrome with addons which peaks at 1GB memory usage for me, never had that problem with Firefox.

I found this some what surprising as well. I've just inherited a MacBook Air and whilst I love some parts of Lion, I could never imagine using it as my primary OS.

Isn't your Dell Optiplex a little loud for the living room?

THESE ARTICLES ARE AWESOME!! Thanks Adam.

WOW Firefox is really killing Chrome on memory usage. Def going to keep using it on my lower spec PC's such as work xp machine and HTPC.

Same here. Although I don't buy into contracts anymore. Will need to buy the phone simfree again. Save in the long run and means I can upgrade when I want. Plus I can stay on my truly unlimited tariff.

Agreed. All this functionality is pretty much already there with SBSettings.

I think that was a feature of Task Switcher plus which is not compatible with iOS5 yet either.
