Well the article did say the filmer was a friend of a driver. Only makes sense.

Stupid never sleeps.
I hope they get rid of “The American” or at least cut the shtick. I didn’t find it funny at all and it was mostly really annoying.
The Subaru Impreza WRC97 driven by rally legend Colin McRae in preparation for the 1997 FIA World Rally Championship…
I’m doing this before $kay...
And here’s the wrong way...
don’t think that works for guys,
Given the link above it’s now going to be playing this weekend in my 66 Newport.
This is the most helpful post ever on Jalopnik. Thanks!
In case there is any doubt, all I76 cutscenes.
Few cities represent the remarkable 20th century trend of skyscraper-filled, obscenely dense cities better than Hong…
I don’t understand the appeal of burn outs. Sure there is noise and smoke, but I own a stereo and a fireplace if I need both at once.
This is a great story.
I worked at Scottsdale Ferrari when the F50 came out. Ferrari stipulated that they could only be sold to people who currently owned a Ferrari.
The problem is that in the past 5-7 years truly lovable cars have skyrocketed in price, so we settle for likable. When I started law school in ‘07, a 993 C4S seemed within reach in 5 years or so. Now they’re $100k. Lambo guys saving up for a Countach have it even worse.
I loves me the Turbo graphics. Moore’s Bond is also what got me interested in Lotus. My JFG would have this car, but in white (like the one that blew up preceding the 2CV car chase earlier in the film) and a white S1, like the one that can transform into a submarine.
Those were the fun Bond movies. For a kid growing up in the 70's, they were almost magical. I grew to appreciate Connery as the more “serious” Bond and the best, if you will, but there’s still a special place in my heart for Moore.
The older I get (mid 40's), the less I care about anything tied to celebrity. Maybe it’s maturity, or the generation I’m from, but this man was so much more than a celebrity. That story is about a man from a more civilized time, and I fear we won’t see many rise to his level. Godspeed 007.
It wasn’t a cameo; he was in the starring cast, essentially playing a parody of himself.
I really wasn’t ready for him to pass away. That (truly wonderful) story didn’t help at all.
