I actually did the same thing but was having problems with Onlive and they turned the graphics way down so it looks like a turd. It is such a fun game, though, even despite that. It's one of those games that's just fun to play. You can't frown while you're beating someone to death with a purple dildo bat.
Gold gets you access to Netflix and the other video services, ESPN, deals of the week, exclusive demos, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting.
You certainly raise some good points, but I like to remain optimistic that in 6-7 years, after the next generation of consoles reaches it's midlife crisis, our technology and internet capabilities will have moved forward, and these data caps will be sorted out.
This cloud gaming thing is very intriguing. I used Onlive for a while and it was a really neat service. The only reason I quit was because of the video quality. It was locked at 720p and had quite a few artifacts.
Holding out for a good sale on Saints Row: The Third and Dark Souls to complete my list of must haves from 2011.
Time to go abuse their 7 day return policy, heh.
Oh, wow. That's really cool.
I love TV on the Radio! But what are you referring to? Was the song in the video?
So, this may be a stretch... But does anyone have an extra download code for Halo: Reach laying around? I lent mine to a friend and he moved away. So now I don't think I'll be getting it back and I've been itching to play lately.
This guy!
I didn't know what to expect judging from the headline, but this was a really great article and very personal.
Yeah, most likely.
Despite it's numerous flaws, this was my Game of the Year. The detailed world, aesthetics, soundtrack, and story pulled me in more than any game of recent memory.
You say you are 21. Well what if, for whatever reason, you were hastily typing "I am 21" on the forum. In the outpouring of hurried key-presses or dyslexic frenzy, you accidentally write "I am 12."
ZING!
I never understood the appeal of FPS type games on a mobile platform like this. The controls are so dodgy that it's just not fun.
I finally started Skyward Sword a couple hours ago, and I must say, I love the graphics and overall feel of the game so far. Wind Waker was my favorite in the series, and this has a similar style.
This.
