That makes more sense to me. I used to own an Alienware laptop and never thought anything of it. Being a Macbook Pro convert, I notice the difference now. My Alienware had the full number pad so it makes sense that the pad was offset.

You know what I just realized? Most PCs have the trackpads slightly off center to the left. Does anybody know why this is a particular design standard?

There is a huge segment of the market that doesn't want casual quick play games. If sony can cater good games towards the hardcore market, and keep the price low enough they will succeed.

Dual analogue sticks, no UMD drive... the hardware sure looks like they learned from previous gen. Now, as long as they can get proper software support...
