i have been fighting against the apostrophe and i want to personally apologize to you, it does suck and look bad
“We count thirty Rebel ships, Lord Vader. But they’re so small they’re evading our turbo-lasers!”
Oh man the PC I could build for $9000 would cure cancer.
A few possible reasons:
Yeah, the DA:I chapter of my book covers Frostbite’s issues in-depth. The short version is that this was an engine designed for first-person shooters and BioWare had to make pretty much EVERYTHING from scratch, from the inventory system to character animations.
Jim Sterling’s stuff on this has (as always) been rather humorous and totally on point.
I, too, remember the stories of horse-mounted cavalry riding the wings of bi planes.
Nah, I’m just “Realistic” about these things; games do not depict reality, so they should not be held by what is considered “realistic”.
Vietnam.
Realism was out the window the minute they made an FPS set in World War 1. You think that was FUN for people to fight in?
“Every Battlefield 1 special edition console comes equipped with a fragmentation grenade, set to go off the minute you perish in game.”
I think for players that want REAL immersion the game should stop working after you die in mulitplayer and your console should blow up because that’s some REAL SHIT!
Nice, as cool as this is I want to see the maps and weapons being added. After this is all said and done I don’t know what’s the next setting Battlefield should go? WW2 revamp or vam? If it were up to me a post-apocalyptic battlefield would be good, somewhat similar to the last BF3 DLC.

I never really got invested in this game but I followed it on here and this is the one case where I kind of feel for the “cheaters”.
The game isn’t, nor was it, actually that good. It just had phenomenal timing of launching during the summer when everyone wanted to go outside and it being a social game for mobile devices. The fact it was Pokemon was icing on the cake. But it wasn’t as if the hype could last forever as it actually isn’t good. Even…
Such a shame regarding the downward spiral of this game. The phenomenon that occurred at its launch is something I think they could’ve kept up with some better strategy, but alas.
I was an old E3 attendant (as press, so this focuses mainly on that) during my college days (saw release of GCN, DS, etc.). I doubt that much has changed except that the swag isn’t as good (seriously, snagged an XBox S controller after their presentation one year, it was in the gimmie bag). I’m also a veteran…
I actually disagree on the Nintendo comment. It completely depends on what Nintendo does this year. Usually, they are just like the other big players, where they have an open booth with a plethora of games to try out followed by a single line for whatever marquee project they have coming (like Breath of the Wild…
