They will, but it’s the screaming and tantrums prior to reaching that point that drive parents to the brink. Miniature humans come with very well developed lungs! If this cup makes the transition from bottle to cup a little easier, it’s worth the price.

Pennsylvania inspection would have required that the floor was patched, but otherwise ...

I think alloys really contribute to loosening. Every trailer we’ve owned had a sticker about re-torquing lugs after 50 miles. I always check them before a trip but on our first trip with a trailer with alloy wheels I put the torque wrench in the truck and stopped after about 50 or so miles. None were at proper torque

My wife and I have traveled from Pennsylvania to Florida twice via Amtrak. We’re close to Harrisburg so we can get our son or daughter-in-law to drop us and pick us up at the train station in Harrisburg. From there we take a commuter train to Philadelphia and get our train to Florida. The last time we traveled we had

    Hail won’t dent your roof?

Is it too late to get your money back from the seller?

Interesting. I know where the company is; I grew up a mile away, and often go past it, but never knew what the company did. It’s one of those indiscriminate buildings you drive past all the time and occasionally wonder about.

I recently started using CBD cream to see if it would help with neuropathy, fibromyalgia and arthritic pain, especially in my shoulder. I switched from a prescription (non-CBD) cream to CBD at the beginning of this month and so far it has greatly reduced the pain and I have a greater range of motion.

I remember a lot about the ‘64 World’s Fair but our family apparently missed this exhibit! That’s a face I surely would remember ...

Pennsylvania just legalized aerial fireworks for this year, an upgrade over the old days of low-powered ground-only stuff. People have gone totally insane with it — started at least a week before the 4th and they still have leftovers going off every night. At least the fireworks vendors closed up their tents earlier

We see that plane quite often. The grandsons love to get up close!

“Within about five minutes, the starter was off, within ten, the armature was sitting on my workbench ...”

Like the one in the seat-back pocket of my truck? The dog-eared one?

    Well put, David!

Having owned three early model ‘vairs over the years (Four, if you count the 1960 I towed home after paying the princely sum of $25 in 1972, but that had no floors and that was about the least of its problems) I look forward to more installments on your new car! One of these days I think another just might follow me

Many years ago I worked summers at a church camp that owned a decrepit CJ-2A that was used for trash hauling duty. The bed of the Jeep had been extended so it could haul four 55-gallon trash barrels, but the weight of four barrels would pull the front wheels off the ground over bumps. To counteract that, four tractor

Just realized that, too. It’s less than 30 minutes from me and I’ll be heading that way tomorrow. Shoot ...

Great read, David! Thanks for telling Radar’s story. I had a ‘66 Charger when I was 17 — low spec 318 auto, but it was a car that stood out and had a presence, even in the early ‘70s — so I can really relate to Radar’s love for his Charger. I want to see more of your work here.

The department that provides police services for our small town has a gloss black F150 with all markings in matte black. Lights are in the windshield and rear window headers and tucked into the grill and taillights. It’s extremely successful in speed traps! They also have an Explorer outfitted the same way. First time
