I liked the movie, hope that doesn't make me a bad person.

Not exactly a high bar. Pyramid Head was *definitely* the highlight. Practically everything else was rubbish.

Im actually incredibly thankful they didnt. After the movie came out the movie version became the default pyramid head and the original, more interesting design nearly vanished. The movie version became synonymous with the character which is a shame because the movie version didnt even capture the characters true

I feel really bad for all the people at Naughty Dog who probably crunched super hard to try and meet their delayed launch date only for it to be delayed again.

IM JUST SAYING. KEITH FUCKING DAVID THO

It’s really not that bad, once you crack it open and take a stab at it. My 9 and 11yr olds love playing it with me. We pleas co-op mode and let the AI take care of the baddies.

I’m not gonna say she’s my favorite, but I’m gonna post her any way because I feel she’s been kind of forgotten, but Elika, from Prince of Persia 2008.

Ah yes, Gerald. The lesser know twin brother of Geralt.

The tech parts are getting harder to find, but the outer parts have now all got 3D printed replicas available. Especially handy for the visor that everyone loses, and the stand that everyone breaks.

Hmm, part of the reason might be that the screen isn’t actually half-an-inch away from your eyes, though it’s not much farther. The “screen” is actually a strip of LEDs that are flashing a certain way and then reflected into your eye by an oscillating mirror. There’s a diagram here:

I hope I can find a local console fixing guy. I’ve noticed one of my screens getting some flickering and lines drawing which I read is an early sign of demise. I’ve seen an article going over backing pieces to then clipping the ribbon cables to the screen but that scares me. I can’t risk killing my piece of Nintendo

lenses change focal distance bruh

It’s more aerodynamic and also perfect for lazy animators who only need to draw blurry moving legs.

lol

Yeah, I’ve got the first few issues when I believe it was free at Funcoland. The first issue is basically newspaper similar to the Funcoland catalogs if you remember those. Of course, Funcoland would become GameStop after Barnes & Noble bought it and that’s how the magazine ended up as part of the GameStop brand.

Biggest hit for me is Game Informer, they do great work and I don’t want to see them go!

When asked about his participation in ‘JAWS : The Revenge’, Michael Caine famously replied “I have never seen the film, but by all accounts it was terrible. However I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific.”

“Horton, Here’s a Poo!”
