I’m completely with you on that. I’d happily pay $80 for a new game, if I knew I was getting the COMPLETE experience. No forced micro transactions. No DLC with the real ending. I hate that a game with a complete story doesn’t exist anymore.

There’s no problem with sticking with it, the problem is all of the whining from the Melee community about the rest of the world moving on and not supporting a 14 year old game.

And then play FES. That ending made no fucking sense without it, and I say that as a guy who thinks P3P was the best video game ever made EVER.

Thanks to Club Nintendo, I guess I’ll be playing DKC: Tropical Freeze. I probably would have never purchased the game with actual money, but I’ll gladly give it a shot for the low price of free.
