I have to believe that, like most public outrage these days, their schtick is 250% crocodile-tears performative.

The Killing made me so angry. I don’t think I’ve ever abhorred a fictional character more than Sarah Linden. And I suppose that’s good writing, but goddamn, after a single season of it, I couldn’t take any more.
A minor quibble:
WandaVision, in hindsight, felt like an overextended prequel to Doctor Strange 2. I didn’t especially like the first couple of episodes of the show because they were so slow, but once they started bringing in outside characters, I got invested. And then it became just another Marvel hero-villain face-off and I left…
Damn, that looks cool.
Tomb Raider Legend came out in 2006; Tomb Raider Anniversary came out in June, 2007. Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune came out in November of 2007.
Remind me how I can play Castlevania Rebirth in 2023. You know, since we have more options than ever now.
Interested to play this, as I never played the original games. I do adore the Legend trilogy, though. Tomb Raider: Anniversary was especially fantastic. Maybe they can remaster those games next!
Fuck yeah.
Would it be a spoiler to ask if the Federal Bureau of Control shows up in the game?
Super excited. It’s absolutely my favorite modern Trek show (although I need to watch more Strange New Worlds) because it’s both a hilarious parody of Trek while simultaneously being an excellent example of Trek.
I still pine for the 80's Happy Meal toys of my youth. Transforming menu items, McNugget characters with different hats.
I really appreciate Night Dive’s philosophy when it comes to their remakes and game preservation (Blade Runner: The Game notwithstanding). They remaster their games only to the point where they look like you remember them looking, they include modern bells & whistles, but for the most part they let the original stand…
Hayley Atwell has had my heart since Captain America, and I was ALL IN on Agent Carter. I wish she had way more time in the MCU. She’s a great character played by a great actress who is, as noted, an absolute smokeshow. She’s literally the only reason I’m interested in the latest Mission Impossible.
Is it weird that I’m way more excited about having a physical version of Prey than any of the Disney/Marvel stuff?
“Hayden Christensen...have successfully been able to bridge their animated and live-action counterparts.”
Came here to say this. How do you cast Christian Bale and then give him absolutely NOTHING to do? You HAD a great villain being played by an AMAZING actor who could’ve been one of the most memorable performances in the MCU and you just...didn’t even swing at the ball.
I suspect that once Ixalerpeton is fully described, it will be the new best-known lagerpetid but who knows when that will be. This is super exciting; I love lagerpetids, and this guy is shockingly complete.
In case anyone was wondering, P. anubis is Phiomicetus anubis, a rodhocetid-grade protowhale.
Remind me why Bucky is in Anti-Avengers? I feel like he’d be pretty loyal to Steve AND Sam, not these new guys.
