Arkham Origins was a failure because, frankly, WB Montreal fucked up the combat timing. There was no rhythm. Map was fine, plot was...okay (although it refocused on Joker REAL QUICK), but the combat was bad.

Anyone else weirded out that all of Gluv’s responses are copy/pasted? Or maybe Gluv is a bot who only has a certain number of possible responses.

in order of rarity tiers, from “common” white and “uncommon” green to “rare” blue and “epic” purple. If you’re really lucky, you’ll find “legendary” gold gear—the best in the game.”

I keep meaning to check out the newest show, Rise of the TMNT, I just don’t like the character designs. I appreciate that it’s trying to do something VERY different, and it looks beautifully-animated from the few clips I’ve seen.

I think the last two seasons are available now. “Tales of the TMNT,” or something. They’re very good! There’s a 3-part Usagi Yojimbo story that might be the best thing that show produced, which is saying something, because in general the 2012 cartoon was shockingly good.

First of all, no.

The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that the Activision Blizzard scandal will eventually be found to involve Newsom, and he’s panicking.

Absolutely agree on the overwhelming number if weapons and outfits. I’m not far from finishing the game’s story (and probably subquests) but I seem to have acquired approximately a billion separate outfits and weapons, most of which I’ve done at least a few upgrades on. I’ve since put all my upgrade resources into

I haven’t really noticed the shimmering, but we’ll see if I can see a difference with this patch. I’m pretty thrilled to have beaten the Apex Tideripper in the KAPPA Cauldron (big props to having it guarded by a Shellsnapper) after reading about this glitch.

Well, at the very least, their methodology to establish three different species is tenuous at best. Paleo literature is full of papers trying to establish different species of “morphs” of Tyrannosaurus rex, but none of them use the same methodologies, few use overlapping specimens, and specimens called one thing in

He’s a big fan of consolidating lambeosaurines and ceratopsids, that’s for damn sure. He’s even consolidated tyrannosaurs in the past. I believe he sank Teratophoenus into Tyrannosaurus in his Princeton Field Guide to Dinosaurs. The paper is kind of bad. Their diagnoses for the three species are ambiguous at best

I’d also just like to point out that Lance Reddick is perfectly cast in Sylens.

It took me a little bit of time to get used to HZD’s gameplay loop, but once I embraced the idea of muderizing every machine I came across (and looting their sweet, sweet resources) and jumping on every sidequest, I was leveling up like a motherfucker and taking down Thunderjaws and IT FELT SO GOOD.

*eyes narrow* Do I?

...HAD a name.

Her cup size has ballooned to a ridiculous degree.

I think saying “auteur” is a shorthand way of saying a creator is a dick and hard to work with. There are plenty of game creators out there who are perfectly good people trying very hard to make good games and aren’t egotistical nightmares like Ken Levine (Schreier’s Bloomberg piece is not the first time I’ve read

Also, her body language changes abruptly once she realizes who Quiet Robe is—you could almost feel her take a giant breath of relief. Her whole body relaxes.
