Unless they stuck it at the end, I’m confused as to why the slideshow (which I stopped reading after the GBA) didn’t include the Atari Lynx, which doubled as a skateboard.

Shouldn’t they be named after...Bug-type Pokemon?

Sad thing is, this game is never coming out.

Could not be more excited. Tribute a couple of my favorite games of the last few years, Mercenary Kings and Panzer Paladin. I know they were involved in Scott Pilgrim but I never played that. Huge TMNT fan, though.

I won’t miss my chance for the restock. I need this thing in my life, it’ll be perfect for my Limited Run Shantae reprint, and it might get me back into collecting old GB/GBC games.

I wonder what their Final Smash will be...unless that’s the attack that involves Rex. I kind of wonder if that’s unique to their stage.

“We take these offenses very seriously,” said a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Department in a statement to The Root.

I’ve always felt that Ocarina is one of the rare Perfect Games. Even the difficult parts (like the Water Temple) can be conquered with patience and planning. It also has a wonderful finale that never fails to get me misty.

I’ve got that one! I need to give it an honest try. It didn’t grab me, but that’s probably because I’m bad a bullet-hell shooters. I did get through the first level (?) without too much trouble though; maybe I liked it more than I thought.

I generally dislike roguelikes, largely for the same reason, but two have stood out to me: The Binding of Isaac and Dead Cells.

I’ve been incredibly impressed with how well Vicarious Visions nailed it. Like you, my only real gripe is how few options there are for a custom character. Maybe that stuff can be patched in, but whatever, man, this game is glorious.

I feel like I have a lot of answers for this. In terms of sheer form factor, nothing really holds a candle to the Game Boy Pocket for me, which is why I was so excited about the Analogue Pocket and so disappointed that they IMMEDIATELY sold out. I love my PSP Go for a similar reason, although I don’t have too many

Man I can’t wait to buy an Xbox Series X specifically to finish playing Control on hardware that will allow me to move the camera without causing the game to have a framerate seizure, and 90-second load times whenever I die (I have an Xbox One S).

I mean...is anybody SURPRISED at this news?

Yes, let’s trot this corpse of a news story out every few months. Never gets old.

It was one of the few NES games I had when I was a tyke, and I could get to the second-to-last level without using a Game Genie (a bike race where you’re chased by a giant multicolored orb). I’m slowly going through it on Rare Replay, which is a godsend because of the rewind feature!

Yeah, Streets of Rage 4 is immaculate.

Every video of this I watch makes me think that the developer (and Microsoft) didn’t understand the appeal of the Battletoads games to begin with. The ‘Toads are essentially the TMNT, but more metal, with ridiculous enemies, frankly amazing gameplay variety, and killer tunes. Yes, the original game is too hard, but

Google pulled ‘em too, and Epic filed the same legal motion against them yesterday.

Okay so this is cool but how the stage is set up makes me want to replicate The Merv Griffin Show from Seinfeld.
