Sorry to jump in, but you can actually wear a sari whenever you want. I am Indian, my mother in law is not Indian, yet she often wears sari's to formal events and to Christmas dinner. She likes sari's and treats them as a formal dress. Sari's are not period clothing, nor costumes. they are just clothes.

I am planning on removing my boobs (prophylactic bilateral mastectomy) next summer so i don't get cancer, since i have a crappy gene. Take that men!!

But I feel fine.

Wow, Thanks. That was amazing.

It's a little ironic that I can't watch this clip because I AM IN CANADA

my husband is a natural blond with a red beard, his father had brown hair with a red beard. Both of them are pretty much grey now, though.

yipee and Welcome!! I love it here, and you will too!

My daughter (3 1/2) always wants to kiss me on the mouth because she wants my lipstick to transfer to her. Its the only way she can actually get coloured lipstick on her lips. While i would not choose to kiss her on the lips, i don't mind it. Its fun when she gets mad cause mommy's wearing stay-on lipstick!

Genetic counsellors do go over options with high risk individuals, including drug therapies and more invasive measures such as surgery. The genetic counsellor is there to help the patient make sense of complicated results, and to help make decisions for the future. The article did not say that the counsellor saves

I was recently tested for this genetic mutation, and it was positive. Knowledge and genetic counselling is very helpful in knowing all my options to decide what to do to lower my cancer risk. I have opted for surgery (double mastectomy) to lower my risk, but my genetic counsellor told me all the options, and is

ya, there is humour all right. And a lot of compromise. at a BBQ we are planning for the weekend there will be both pulled pork and beef biriyani.

not every interfaith marriage is a disaster... I am Muslim, husband is atheist, we have a happy interracial family with 2 little Muslim kids. everybody loves each other (extended family included) and there had never been even an ounce of tension. maybe it helps that i am not very devout, but my family is religious,

This actually made me pretty angry/sad. I am tired of everyone's obsession with boobs. I recently found out that I have a genetic mutation which puts me at a 50-85% chance of breast cancer. I am planning to have my boobs removed as soon as i can, and because I hate surgery and want to avoid complications, i am

It's kinda silly that I can't watch a clip where Ryan Reynolds compares himself to Ryan Gosling due to the fact that I am in Canada.

I am a SAHM. And although I may not comment that much (I am shy), I love Jezebel and read it daily. I am as liberal as they get, I just feel that this is what is best for me and my family right now. I am also working on grad school while I am at home, and will go back to work once my littlest is in school.

Oh my, Kim has said something smart. And her mouth is closed. And she has nice lipstick. what's going on?

@taylvie3: I used to work in a upscale, high fashion department store (desk job, not a salesperson). Within a few months of starting work there, most employees would start wearing only black most of the time. People though it was because we were cool and high fashion, but in reality it was because it was a

@jadelyce: Actually EAPs are completely confidential. Your supervisor does not have the right to know that you have even contacted the EAP, let alone what was said.

My second baby was just like that. people would see her move around in me from across the room. She would do back flips. and yes, she is a handful now at three.
