I would note that bringing in a showrunner from a show that was NOT one of the "important" shows is hardly a step towards having one.

"Detective Norton, you come in with me. Officer Kaspersky, you cover the back."
Cool dads put you on the front of their Triumph Street Triple and let you steer while they guide you.
The cars part is going to be hard. As cars have gotten harder and harder for an individual to work on, fewer people develop that as a hobby.
TI calculators are kept in business almost entirely by the fact that you can't use your phone on a test.
At least with Mitchell and Webb, the pairing wasn't 0ff. In America they had a fascinating, funny, lovable guy play the PC against a the world's blandest actor as the Mac. Mitchell and Webb are, at least, both cool and funny.
That was actually a little odd. Fighting in Westeros seems to be more of the Middle Ages bashing your armored enemy to death with your giant, metal, edged club kind of fighting. Montoya-level swordsmanship is the portfolio of guys like the dancing master and, of course, Arya.
Very nice, so you are saying that Tolkien wins in three?
Yep. LOTR characters would win hands down, but they are sort of presented as men from an age of heroes who are worth many normal men (or orcs) in combat. Martin's guys are more grounded and realistic. Tolkien's characters are comparable to people like Achilles where Martin's are more like real guys.
Good article. As a practical matter, I do not self-describe as a gamer. I don't hide the fact that I play video games, though, or even my weekly D&D game. Without judging anyone, I guess that I would say that it is not a good enough use of time to make a real obsession of to the point where it is the primary…
I am sorry for this. This kind of thing is really tragic, and I kind of blame the conservative media more than I do the old folks involved. They grew up in a time when they could trust their news sources, sort of, and now their favorite news source tells them that the President is a monster. Then they react as if he…
I made Tomb Raider into Larry Croft for my boy. He was not as appreciative.
Well, this gives new meaning to the term "trickle charge."
The things is, given the environment they live in, it just does not seem like the Militia is so bad. It seems like a basic strong-man-style dictatorship that maintains order at the cost of harshly putting down its opponents. Since it has been shown that after the blackout roving murderers, thieves and rapists were…
It is their eerie power to just have a little and be okay with that that makes them skinny. Gits.
Yeah, you have to go all French and half-pronounce the end.
She is suggesting that, despite being overweight which she knows is bad for you (the weirdly part), her metrics are good. I have lost my weight (used to be morbidly obese), and I feel great about it, but when I was fat my blood work, BP, heart rate and insulin resistance were all normal so I felt just like she does…
I bet that they will never find its ring-finger.
Yes. This drug that gives people hope is exactly the same as mass murder.
I am always leery of the idea that we can replicate something before we understand it. I am not saying that the efforts are not valuable, but if we had how we work down well enough to recreate it, psychology would already be a hard science.
