You just made me imagine a planet of aliens who speak like Newfies, so well done!

Like the Nazis, the Confederacy had such an intolerably evil element close to, but not quite at, the core of their beliefs that it gives history a rare ability to take a moral position. Had they merely been fighting for state's rights on a philosophical basis they might have been judged as any regional independence…
I always thought that the British made good Romans. At least, British actors did up through the late-mid 20th century. They had an amazing ability to channel imperial arrogance mixed with soldierly bearing and manner.
Heeeech heeeeech heeeeech.
Welll....not facetious exactly. But if one thinks of DLC as a side dish, perhaps it becomes more palatable to accept that it comes at the same time as the game, but you do pay for it.
"Stop thinking you're a chef and telling us when and where we should be making our side-dishes."
Now I see that I am glad that Russ Meyers' "Untitled Barsoom Project" never got off of the ground.
Finally, a Vampire actor who will never age!
So, say that I am really tired of procedural/genre mashups where cases that just happen to line up with the genre keep dropping into the protagonists' laps at the office (Grimm). I can actually handle procedurals where the mission of the cops is to investigate this kind of thing (X-files, Fringe etc...). Am I likely…
I don't think that you get roles based on whether you were a good comedian once. Really, you get them by starting with smaller productions that might desperately need your name in them and not charging "A-list" money for your work. Really, we don't know that Murphy is not getting those kinds of offers. We know that he…

Crap. I have heard Xeni Jardin on some podcasts and liked her. I hope she comes through it.
I agree. I tend to think that any system designed to appear sentient must be suspect when examining it for signs of sentience. I feel like we will have to nail down our own sentience before we can program it, if that is even possible.
While Picard sings light opera.
Bah. Just dump some sacramental wine on a bunch of spears if you like. That should work.
I bet at some point they just gathered up all of the likely spears and stabbed some witches. The one that killed the most witches was the right one.
Is Batman a super hero then?
Do you suppose that envious, alien eyes are looking at closeups of Earth on their version of Io9 and being amazed that it doesn't all look blue close up?
Done! Now, just milk this kitty....
I don't see this as any kind of failure. From bronze to the feline genome in 3000 years? Take that, lemurs!
