Is this story supposed to be told by a woman that Ted hasn't gone out with? Because if so, I don't believe it.

This week definitely seemed to be about ensuring that every group of people from mobsters to police will be converging on the house very quickly. So does that mean the family has to help out the kidnappers? Have we slipped into The Ref? And if so, where is Denis Leary?
Honestly, I love this show too. I don't think I'm even watching it to make fun of it. I'm legitimately enjoying watching Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott go round and round to nowhere.
Edit: Nevermind. I misunderstood which scene you were referring to. I thought you meant Lily's decision, not Marshall's.
Really? I'm not paying close enough attention I guess. These days, I mostly keep finding alien and Bigfoot shows (aside from A Haunting and Celebrity Ghost Stories, of course).
That would be sweet. Somebody else has to be in the wedding band with The Mother, so it might as well be someone cool.
I think it's a given that Lily is not going to be upset past a certain point in the season, but what would bug me if I were her is that Marshall had taken the job without talking to her and had tried to hide it from her. Personally, I think a judgeship is a far better opportunity for them than what she has going in…
Personally, I would have liked last season a lot better with some Murray Hewitt to make things better. Bret and Jemaine wouldn't have hurt either.
Courtney Dove and Kurt Coo-bain. I love it.
As I recall they were briefly engaged and definitely dating in the late '90s. I'm sure there have to be some articles about it out there.
I've enjoyed his work, but Courtney Love had sort of ruined him for me for while. It's nice to see he's still boyishly cute and humorous.
Eminem is on next week. That would be a perfect opportunity to pull out Taran's amazing Eminem impression from the "Why the heck have you people not done this again?" closet at SNL. I think it's the only thing in there at this point.
She has Nikki Minaj eyes. I do not like.
I like that Aidy was the experienced one who was bemused by the others in that virgin waiters sketch while Cecily was one of the virgins. I think Aidy gets stuck with the "awkward" character too often.
If it helps, Norton didn't look too enthused about her being there either. But if I had choose between paying attention to Alec Baldwin (physically, at least) and Miley, I'd respond in the same way.
I found this to be the funniest episode of the season so far. From the Cold Open until Update, I was surprised at much each sketch made me laugh. Edward Norton had a lot to do with that, since he really sold his characters.
He's been on everything this week. So I guess Adam DeVine is a thing that is happening, huh?
Same here. But I just don't have room for another sketch comedy troupe in my heart. Especially because this one has no equivalent for Kerri Kenney.
PeeWee Herman must truly command an army of adults between their 20s and 40s. I remember when I watched his Broadway special on HBO, the moment he said "Good morning boys and girls!" I felt a compulsion to respond "Good morning, PeeWee!".
