Huh. I'm really surprised. Brad Garrett plays a character I really like and Sarah Chalke plays a character I really don't.

I haven't seen Elizabeth Perkins in a lot of things. I mainly remember her from "He Said, She Said." She's still a gem.
I was thinking cute daughter, blonde actress playing the Mom, and soon-to-be ex showing up unwelcome equaled a recast The New Normal. I expect Polly to become a surrogate anytime now.
Really disliked the Sue storyline in this episode. I thought the Wrestlerette/Cheerleader showdown was a pinnacle of growth for her, so seeing her trying out for yet another team squandered a lot of goodwill with me.
Troy y Abed en la manana!
Let me go on record by saying that I love this article so much I could burst.
The Tyler Perry joke didn't bother me, but I will admit that the overemphasis that Mindy thought the two Haitian kids were adorable made me raise my eyebrow slightly. It almost seemed like overkill (although they were cute kids).
Eh. It wasn't terrible, but there were episodes I've liked much more. I do like Mindy's rapport with her little brother, as well as Morgan's unrepentant lecturing of the staff about their poor ability to follow jail survival guidelines.
Is that what that mess was? Thanks for clearing that up because I had no idea. I just know it was embarrassing and annoying, as I thought the actor playing the minister just couldn't get his line right for some reason.
Just remember, even if you can't change the channel, you can drink.
I fully appreciate how little influence Emma has over Jacob now. For me, that has been worth the last few episodes. My giggle moment was when she had the never to look at him and say "You're being weird." As though the most natural thing after being left for the police (or dead) and not having her pick up his calls…
(slurring) You mean you already weren't? *hic*
"1. The "Whips and Regrets" title isn't in any way clever or
meaningful. No wonder she hasn't made enough money to rent a nicer place
for her shop."
The early telephone calls from Joe to Ryan made me wish that Joe would just go ahead and ask Ryan to the sock hop so that Joe could stop finding an excuse to call and Ryan could go back to his hangover.
I liked him as Spence on "Ellen". I though his character was pretty okay despite that whole Spence/Paige "It's good when annoying people find each other" nonsense.
I keep seeing commercials for this show on BBC America and every time I think I'm seeing Tina Majorino, when it's clearly not.
viewdrix: I don't think we should use network executives as a measure for anything really. I'm just saying that if anyone is putting any one else out of work, an unrelated website is on the bottom of my list to blame.
You're right. Misquote on my part!
Between that and Brick's "BOSSY!" on The Middle last Wednesday, it's been a great week for intonation humor at ABC.
"It's good to have Happy Endings. I actually know a guy who looks very similar to Dave and is named Dave but it's not the same."
