I’ve occasionally heard of complaints about the GM windshield-embedded antenna, but our ‘73 Custom Cruiser had one, and the reception was fabulous.

Only if they’re procured while having fun. The crack in my windshield because a riced out Civic took a gravel shoulder to get past me in traffic just pisses me TF off.

Well, the portion of your “ancestral home” where about 150 of your 50,000 people live.  So kind of like relocating the Jersey Shore or Rochester or something.

This is quite possibly the dumbest thing to be offended over.

I think this is one of those times where it is okay to be offended, but maybe keep a check on the level of outrage. Otherwise you can start a chain reaction and eventually the whole thing explodes over social media, and you could be left dealing with the fallout for years. 

Wasn’t the iconic two piece woman bathing suit named after the atoll as well? Curious if they feel that is an insult as well...

Here’s an idea, just for kicks how about putting in something similar to NP/CP and have a “good COTD” or “not so good COTD” buttons for us to vote on?

100% Agreed.  Plus they used cars from people around the area to shoot it!

Making minivans cool is the first step to getting people to buy them in droves again.  The TJ Cruiser is definitely a step in that direction.
