Definitely more obsolete. My wagon only had a cassette player and no CD player but I love the original radio and didnt want to change the look so I had 2 of those converters until they both eventually failed me. But it was good while it lasted!

I mean you’re not wrong but I guess it’s just a matter of perception. If someone was 100yo we’d think its pretty neat and it is. We wouldn’t argue that those aren’t the same cells they had 100 years ago. But at the same time if I just walked out of a biology course and had this info fresh in mind, I might joke about…
To clarify, lanesplitting in its broader sense remains illegal across the 50 if I recall correctly. Only a much toned down version is being legalized (one that’s also much safer), that’d be lane filtering. It’s kinda like a square and a rectangle. Lane filtering is a type of lanesplitting but lanesplitting isn’t…
The radiator fan for the v6 in my 92 Camry wagon is powered by the power steering fluid.
Drove a Frontier at my last job (pest control) and by golly are you right about that. Takes an honest 4 lanes to make a u-turn. All around good truck though
I find'em all over craigslist in the $30-50,000 range. Depends on the year and condition, obviously.
Thank you for writing this! I’ve never had a real issue with those who collect cars and let them sit but I also cant say I ever understood it personally. Reading your comment though, reminded me of why, even now, I go to the hot wheel isle at Walmart and try to find neat cars to buy. They all end up sitting in a box…
I’ll raise you one better:
While we’re getting our pitchforks, might I remind everyone that old mythbusters blew up a 3rd gen Camry wagon! Me and the 6 other people who care will riot!
Is the whole “tax billionaires more” really necessary? I mean cant we get an article about cars that doesn’t have to tie back into your (and other jalop writers) political alignments?
Literally just watched this last night! I love all three!

Thanks!*
Those Camry wagons are sweet though! I’m on my second one currently. Totalled my first one and then stripped everything to rebuild the second I got for $300. Removed and then replaced engine, trans, brake/fuel lines, gas tank, exhaust, rear brake assembly, front suspension, rear hatch, and rear subframe. Only thing I…
Completely accurate and a completely underappreciated reference.
Hot Wheels is better, however, I do refer to any car (hot wheels or matchbox) as a matchbox car. So I guess I inadvertently give them more credit...
Shout out to @notanother for this heading...
Completely underrated comment. Have a star!
I agree, mostly. I’d say the big difference is that you can report on things without participating. If the KKK was going around shanking people and throwing molitovs (not sure how to spell it) than I’d expect journalists to cover it. However, you can cover it and witness it, without participating. In this instance (see…
