I do feel it gets a lot more crap than it deserves. It still has the same great chemistry between all the leads, some memorable scenes, and a good combination of scares and laughs. Like you said, flawed (and I have the very same issues with it you mention), but still an enjoyable movie.

I don’t get how so many say they have missed the show. We live in a wonderful age, where every cable/satellite box is a DVR. Set your DVR for the show or watch it on-demand. It’s really not that hard.
