Meanwhile, in a parallel universe.....

So true, even though I wish there are companies that can try to come up with something as cheap and intuitive as the iPad. I still remember the day the iPad was announced and some people were moaning how it doesn't run OSX. But VNC apps made that all but unnecessary. Just one of the many reasons we own an iPad and not

They also said my generation would be made stupid by video games and plugging in Walkmans into our skulls. Fact is, there are stupid people, mediocre people and smart people out there. Always had been and always will be. I do not FB or tweet, not because I'm anti FB or tw, but because I participate online in forums

China's environment on the east coast and up north is mostly fucked right now. But where I live, plus huge swathes of the country are doing just fine. We got good water and air. Life is affordable on my meager income. If I was to work 2 days a week back in Canada, I'll be on welfare, let alone feed 3 kids and have a

I'm in China, sure I'm living in a 'village' but I don't see signs that China is coming apart at the seams. If anything else, the common people sure have a heck more spendable cash than us 'rich' laowais.

What sources? You got sources that say the government is split? Link please.

What I meant was that I suspected a meltdown from the first day. I wish I'm a wizard, could fix this shit up with a wave of my wand.

Woe is the hungry thief who stole a Linux machine disguised in a pizza box....

I knew it. I just had this gut feeling the day it happened. I'm not a psychic or nuclear scientist, but some things, no matter how unscientific it seems, just give you that feeling, ya know, something is disastrously wrong.

This is stupid, looks stupid, and probably make you feel stupid when you're on it. For that price, I'll get another downhill bike, which actually rips without a frigging motor(besides me). Dumb invention of the day.

Good points there. We've been living like this for years, efficient lighting, no cars, solar where we can use it, including hot water, gravity spring water etc. We cannot create more and more energy out of finite sources, so let's not view energy that way. Better to conserve and use when we really need it.

I looked, now what?

Seriously, the first week that Fukushima was spewing radiaiton, I told my wife they should built a tent over the reactors. I was thinking in a country like China, if that happened, that's what they'll do cause they do not care how many people will get cancer and die from the job, and if it fails they'll built a

Nice, nothing like banging out an ejoint on a subway. Will take some of the commuting stress away. But then again, I've never commuted, so what do I know.

Which update is this? 4.3.3? Still on 4.2.1 here.

Does it give you the proper effects though?

Meh, let me know when they come up an e-joint. With the same effects as a real one.

Damn, you too. I thought I was the only kid in school to get this kind of treatment at home.

Yes, malaria claims more life than radiation a year, but still doesn't make it safe. I know what ingested plastics and chemicals do, but at least we can try to stay away from putting those things in our body. With radiation, it's something we cannot see, touch or taste. I do not agree with the burning of coal for our

Sucks more if you wear glasses too like me though.
