This is not, as is often assumed, the Epic Rap Battles of History suggestion board.

Self-appointed? Oh no no no, we of the LFESFC select our presidents the way all great bodies do: by a centuries-old system that often selects the less popular candidate by a mechanism invented to appease slave-owners!

Works nicely with the “El Entrance” joke last ep!

I’d prefer to upvote your audacity than to recommend it, but I suppose K____ leaves me no choice on the matter. (Then again, do I want a FBesque “Haha” reaxion?)

If Kinja dœsn’t translate my HTML, I’m leaving it here in protest.

Or Paul W S Anderson (Imagines basically the same movie, except with Mila Jovovich as Sonya)… nah…

*Toasty?

Did you like THK? I was a fan of the short story whence it was expanded, and, I mean, I finished the book, but I didn’t love it the way I have a lot of Leonard’s books.

I know, right? Like, if The State had gotten a 21st season, we’d’ve never had Charles Boyle.

I loved it, but if it hadn’t died, we would never have had Captain Holt, and that is a world I don’t want to live in.

THIS STILL THE RUNNING GAG THAT WE’RE DOÏNG?

I upvoted this.

I take it that you also, unlike me, never desperately wanted a map?

Me too.

That’s pretty much exactly what I was envisioning

Lo noterò molto bene, grazie!

Agreed. It was definitely treated as a reveal, but it wasn’t at all clear what it was a reveal of!

Okay, so by “the villains” I assumed we were talking about the Megatron and Starscream of this enterprise, i.e. RF and the CK. So to you, the prollem isn’t that the changed the villains’ motivations from the books, so much as they selected the villain(s) (not sure if the CK is in/hinted at in the film) with the least

The theory without the reset is a really interesting explanation as to how Roland should live so long. Is there another one elsewhere in the books, or do we just sort off accept that.
