Interesting, so there’re no story, it’s just a bunch of ideas? A lot of times, that’s the most interesting part. We can’t all be The Yiddish Policeman’s Union

(Kenneth M Stampp Cries in the corner)

CSA started from the unusuäl perspective that the South not only won (got to stay independent), but conquered the North! I guess that was easiër, in that they could depict the same country with different (or were they???) values instead of try to figure out the relationship between the two nations.

That’s nice. Our teacher did a brief unit on history of American music (just XXth century) after the test. I think we were all exhausted on the first day about jazz, since I remembered nothing almost immediätely. Amazing teacher, tho.

but really funny.

Do you live in Lowell? That’s th’only place IMDb lists. If so, cool. We went there in August just so Il Signorino could ride the free trolley. Worth it!

I myself have been tryïng to work out a comic angle on Aquaman. Do you think he might be able to be represented as somewhat underpowered when compared to the rest of the Justice League?

I’m glad t’hear/see such a positive response here. Elsewhere noöne seems to know what I’m talking about.

Mebbe/Prolly you’re joking, but for the record: Larry Wilmore.

It’s too bad Larry couldn’t’ve just done one night a week. Mebbe fill another night with Not Safe (clips of which I always enjoyed when Comedy Central put them on their YouTube channel.) Four different shows at 11:30’d’ve been great.

I like the Transformers Wiki, for its dedication to always having “humorous” captions on its photos.

I saw that and American Pie the same summer with the same friend, since each of us only wanted to see one of them, but neither of us wanted to go to the movies alone.

Agreed. Especially with this coming right on the heels of the Han Solo news; it’d be way too easy to establish a Disney-fires-you-if-you-don’t-fall-in-line narrative.

I love feature-length animated movies too! And apparently we have at least three things in common, because we both love hyphenating strings of words that form adjectives! It really bugs me when people don’t do that. I read a book to Il Signorino that uses the word “world-famous” a lot, without a hyphen! (Weirdest of

Viëtnamese last place? Da-amn. It’s almost like we’re different people with different tastes, one of whom knows a little more than the other about cultural-regional variätion in the cuisine of the world’s most populous country

My goddamn swype thinks “apple” should always be uppercase, and I’ve got a goddamn Android! It also frequently puts “fur” for “for” (which I should just go with), but worst of all, unless I swype very carefully, I get “abd” (NOT A WORD!) for “and”! Yet literally every time I swype carefully A-B-D (like, if I’m tryïng

If I have a craving for “na’an,” I head to a kibbutz near the city of Rehovot in Israel. If I want naan, I’ll go get some bread.

That’s too bad. My desire to eat East Asian food gœs…

I remember that because it was a big ol’ “TV event,” and I sat all the way thru the credits and at the end it said all characters were fictional or used fictitiously and I was all, “uh, no.”

Halle Berry’s Churchill in the X-Men movies was exhilarating!
