That’s the comment I was gonna make based on what my librariän friend tells me. To wit: when I think “librariän” and “porn,” I no longer think “sexy woman undœs her bun and takes off her glasses” but “constantly beïng vigilant of what people are showing on their monitors.”

Did it bother you that the librariäns were the bad guys/antagonists?

As much as I love libraries (and yes, I knew you were just joshing), I’m having trouble envisioning the library show. There must be a lot that gœs on in the main branch of a big-city library, but aside from the episode where they fight against a banned book, I’m having trouble picturing it.

I loved The Grinder. At its prime, nothing made me laugh as hard on all of TV. But it somehow, in one season, had the whole arc of a multi-season TV show and I agreed it was time to end it after a year.

My only Funches experiënce is @Midnight, but he’s pretty great there. Still, I dug up a trailer for the show (don’t know why’t was so hard to find) and it seems pretty dismal.

Our lists our almost the same, altho Riverdale dœsn’t’ve any appeal for me. (It’s interesting how Frontier looks exactly like an inferiör version of Taboo.) Still, thinking of Iron Fist as its own trailer (not a pseudo-spinoff to two* shows I’ve liked) I’d’ve had no interest.

Mebbe it’s my TV deprivation (I am behind on literally everything but Brooklyn Nine-Nine, with th’only advantage beïng that once you’re as behind as me you can watch in high quality, commercial-free on Netflix) due to having a three-year-old with an unusuäl sleep schedule, but I looked thru this list with nothing but

Well, I mean…

I use pipes to talk about searches that don’t employ quotation marks to talk about a limited phrase. So I’d search for |chewbacca "sex toy"| rather than tryïng to confusingly demote those quotation marks with “chewbacca 'sex toy'”

Do you use curly quotes (and curly apostrophes) in your AVC comments like do? If so, this is truly what it’s like “when doves cry.”

If you want to be super cool like me and always use curly quotes in your AVC comments, just type “ and ” around the stuff you want in quotation marks. You can also use ’ (“right single quote”) as an apostrophe, as the ' mark is really just the prime/foot market and not the apostrophe.

In the spirit of preserving curly punctuätion, can’t it be “Trump’s America” rather than “Trump's America”? (Dœs that difference even show up?)

Are you from the Earth where The Simpsons never made it past the Tracy Ullman stage?

If you did a straight adaptation of DKR (I haven’t seen the animated one), that’d prolly be fine. Or Dark Victory.

Word. That summer was the first Batman, the second Ghostbusters, and the third Indiäna Jones, and I was in heaven. (I know everyöne on the Internet seems to hate Ghostbusters II now, and that’s fine, I actually haven’t seen it since the early nineties.)

There’s an artist on DeviäntArt that made some interesting proposals as to where each of the other Batman villains would’ve fit into the Nolanverse. Here’s his Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze.

People do know that “ice to see you” was never spoken in Batman and Robin and is a line from McBain in The Simpsons, right? Sometimes I can’t tell.

I saw it 2D, and sort of wished I’d seen it 3D, actually.

I liked them both, but I really don’t see Rogue One having less fanservice.
