Every time I deal with a spider I think about the copy of Plants vs Zombies that ended up stuck on Fahey’s office ceiling and wonder if it’s still there.

Since Kotaku can’t be bothered to seemingly give a fuck. Here’s a touching tribute written on Polygon
For real. I had no idea until I saw this comment thread. Which is fucked.
Just Heard the news about Mike Fahey, RIP
Oh thank god, our long international nightmare will soon be over and we can not watch this film disappear in the rear view mirror.
Okay, this review on top of not shutting the fuck up about the movie is actually some of the best trolling ever. Bring on the chaos.
There’s an appreciation post on Reddit with 3.2k upvotes and here on Kotaku people are having to find out via the comments. I can’t remember the last time I was so disappointed in a website.
Well, when you write endless, cynical gossip to drive clicks, you inevitably end up contradicting yourself. Hilarious that an article they literally published yesterday said this movie was supposed to be great. At this point I only visit the site to see what new level of embarrassment they’ve reached.
Well, at least New AV Club is continuing the Old AV Club tradition of hyping some random movie to the hilt only to ultimately give it a C-.
It’s downright disrespectful at this point. They can’t even put up a quick post just to let people know. I get that it’s a holiday weekend but the fact that someone, maybe even the EIC of the site ffs, can’t take five minutes to write a post is disgusting.
Agree with the general sentiment but I think in this instance, given the whole backstory with Brendan Fraser, it’s worthy of being reported on. After what happened it’s pretty heartwarming to see. A lot of people are rooting for him.
WAIT, WHAT?????
Even The Rock is super happy for Brendan!
It’s been a few days now and there’s no acknowledgement of Fahey’s passing. I’m very disappointed in the current Kotaku staff.
It’s my contention that Brendan Fraser should get a 6-minute standing ovation essentially any time he enters a room, but maybe that’s just me.
I’m a little annoyed that Kotaku is now posting articles about video games. This seems to have nothing to do with scantily-clad women and their streaming empires.
At least once upon a time that judgment was rendered and shared in person, and typically in private. Now an entire school can jump on board in a matter of seconds.
I remember when I logged onto my first BBS as a teenager. It was like a whole new world of finding people who liked the same things I did.
I mean, he’s not wrong. He’s just late to the party. I love social media; it has a ton of benefits. But it’s not exactly a hot take to say that it’s been widening the divide between people with different views and beliefs for awhile now. Some of that isn’t necessarily the worst thing, since bigots are telling on…
“To be young now, and to be young whenever—I can only speak for my generation—is to be intensely judged,”
