I‘m both surprised and excited this game turned out well. I hope it does well for them, and shows that people prefer a strong single player, contained story over games as service bullshit...

Can’t imagine her not being seen in the game, esp with the part she plays. Granted, once they had her in the game, her role might have evolved, too, but still...

I was a bit skeptical, but that shot of driving in the rain at :31 looks decent...so far it already looks better than what I expected them to do.

This looks goofy as hell and yet I’m sure I’ll be watching it anyway.

This is a good first start.  I kinda feared they would just toss the hardware out there and expect the community to figure it out.  And I get it might still require work here and there, but at least Valve is doing a first pass and saying “these work great, whereas these don’t”.

You would think if they’re going to include that particular easter egg, they would make it a positive experience for the user, and not punish them.

Great post, I’m the same way. I’m not saying the game (or any game) is perfect. Or revolutionary. Or sometimes not even mindblowing. But we all have things we enjoy, and that’s a good thing.
